With this option, your pet is cremated privately at a licensed crematory. The ashes are contained in a lovely cedar urn with an engraved nameplate and will be returned to your primary care veterinarian within two weeks. They can also be made available directly from the crematory or mailed to you for an additional fee.
This option is for families that don't wish to have their pet's ashes returned nor wish to bury at home. Pets are respectfully cremated with other pets at the licensed Craig Road Pet Cemetery. Remains are scattered around the lovely grounds, tall trees, and rose garden. The cemetery grounds are always open for a visit or reflection, and many of our police, fire, military, and service dogs have been placed there since the early 1960’s.
There may be a fee if additional assistance to safely carry your pet out of your home is needed.
We are here to answer your questions every day, from 6am - 8pm. Appointments are scheduled throughout the week, please call for availability.
Sometimes, pets take a turn for the worse overnight, so we do our best to accommodate same day appointments with a few hours notice when possible.
If this is a medical emergency, please contact your local veterinarian or one of the emergency clinics listed in the Local Resources section.

Jessica Jensen, DVM
I have been practicing medicine for almost 7 years after graduating from the University of Wisconsin Madison in 2009. I worked in private practice in Wisconsin before moving here to Las Vegas where I started with Banfield in April 2010. I grew up on a dairy and sheep farm in Northeast Wisconsin. As a child, I always wanted the best for the animals on our farm and even fixed a broken leg on one of the barn cats with popsicle sticks! I became interested in how to treat animals and learned the importance of preventive care from the farm. But have also developed a passion for quality of life care. I am currently focused on treating dogs and cats. I currently have one dog named Harlow who is a three-year-old Terrier mix. Ialso have four cats named Harvey, Walter, Milton and Alfred. In my free time, I like to go hiking, shopping, to the movies and sleep!

"Thank you, thank you and thank you again. I can't express enough how wonderful you made a very difficult situation better. My Obama was a sweet boy who protected not only me but his brothers and sister. We all miss him so much. Watching him go so peacefully gives me peace of mind he's pain free now. I really appreciate everything you did Dr Toby Goldman. Kindest regards, Diane"

"Dr Toby was beyond amazing. He made us feel comfortable and at peace with the process. He was so caring and passionate and made Ozzy a very special boy on his last day in the physical world. The entire process was personalized and beauitful. I could not be happier with the way it was handled. I highly recommed Dr Toby and lap of love to anyone in the unfortunate time in life where we say goodbye to a furry member of the family."

"Dr. Toby was incredibly patient and caring during such a difficult time. He gave our beloved Zeus the utmost respect all the way to the end. While we re heart broken and Zeus will be terribly missed Dr. Toby helped us cope by giving us a positive point of view. Zeus is in a much better place and will always be missed. Thank you Dr. Toby for being there with us. We will always be appreciative of you,
Love, Brianna and Daniel"

"My 11 year old Lady girl was diagnosed with Leukemia four weeks ago. It appeared to have caused a secondary infection in her lungs which caused labored breathing. Treatment with antibiotics seemed to help her breathing. However, she also had trouble walking as her hind legs were getting weak. This past weekend she stopped eating and was dragging her hind quarters. I called her Vet who recommended Lap of Love. I called today, Monday morning, and spoke to Ashley whose voice brought me to tears (as it is doing now) as she had such a compassionate and caring manner. She understood the situation and was able to get Dr. Toby Goldman out to my house that morning. He agreed it was her time. He explained the process with such calm demeanor and compassion that I felt she was in good hands. It seems impossible that she is gone. There is a void but she won't be forgotten."

"We couldn't have asked for a gentler guide for our Cisco's passage. Dr. Goldman was wonderful. He offered comfort and peace for both our kitty and our hearts. Incredibly grateful for his presence."

"It was the hardest decision for us to make and we were still not ready to let our Shatzie go but Dr Toby helped us through the process preserving Shatzie's dignity and keeping him comfortable throughout. We got to talk about his life and all his accomplishments (17 years old there are a lot ) Dr Toby made this a beautiful experience and the next day we have nothing but wonderful memories even in death.
Thank you for this service and supporting us at our time of need
