2/17/2007 - 1/2/2020Phoenix was my fur baby for almost 13 years, and was the sweetest dog I've ever known. She never so much as growled or barked at anyone, only wagged her tail and greeted them with such happiness. We always joked that if a burglar broke in, she would make friends with them and show them where we keep the valuables. Even still, I always felt safe with Phoenix by my side. Sometimes on walks we'd run into "sketchy" people, and I just knew in my heart that she would protect me if something were to happen, and I was never afraid with her around. She always knew when I was upset, and would come over and just sit near me, or sometimes push her head under my arm to be close to me.

Phoenix helped me welcome my (human) daughter into the world in October. I'm so happy that she made it to welcome her baby "sister", but so sad that my daughter will never know her sweetness. I hope that she will become my daughter's protector now from afar.

I'm so lonely without my protector and my cuddler.... The house is so empty without you, Phoenix. The hole in my heart is huge. There is always a gaping empty space at my side now. No dog will ever have your personality.... you were truly one of a kind. <3

9/25/2005 - 1/10/2020Bailey stole my heart 14 years ago at 6 1/2 weeks old. He was the most loyal and loving Beagle and never met a person or dog that he didn’t welcome with his wagging tail. He will forever have a special place in my heart and is so missed!🐾❤️Amy LillyLeague City, TexasJanuary 12, 2020

1/16/2020 - 1/8/2020Bubba was a cat that always required extra work to have as a pet, but dammit I wouldn't change it for anything. He was always such a sweet boy. Whenever I would speak cooingly to him he would squint one eye at a time, almost winking at me. He was way too cool. I don't have accurate, expressive or eloquent enough words to describe exactly how much I love Bubba.Nick MarinelliDenver, ColoradoJanuary 12, 2020
1/21/2006 - 1/10/2020Opie was our baby, our son, our protector and our furnace when we were cold. He had a big personality and expressions on his face that would make us all laugh. He was mama's companion and shadow wherever she went. He loved to eat which eventually led to diabetes :( BUT he took his shots of insulin bravely everyday. As a true Beagle he would chase everything including deer! When he was just a puppy he found a den of bunnies under the playhouse so he decided to crawl under there as well. That was a terrifying experience because we weren't sure how to get him out but eventually he surfaced. He loved to escape the yard and run and run and run forcing poor mama to run after him as fast as she could with her short legs. As he got older his escapes turned into slow walks that would lead him back home eventually. He had a bed in practically every room but his favorite spot was under the kitchen counter where he would roll and wrap his heated blanket up. He loved to fluff his beds and he loved his heated blankets straight out of the dryer every morning. He loved to howl with the fire trucks as well as when mama sat at the piano and sang though the best was the 1:00 Tornado test. He howled through the hole thing every Saturday. His fur was unlike other Beagles. His was downy soft, not brittle, right to the end. This was something that everyone commented on. He was just so soft. Opie even had a special bark that was kind of like a secret code. I knew when he wanted to go outside. His bark was short and deep. He always knew what time Breakfast and dinner was without wearing a watch. When his cancer arrived he still acted as though it was nothing. Always full of love and a thousand kisses for everyone. Never a peep to let us know that he was in pain. We thought he would win the battle but he could go on no more. He will always be my "furry child ", my little Oootah, that's what I called him. Opie will always be with me. I'm sure of thatLaura CerritoBloomfield Hills, MichiganJanuary 12, 2020
4/14/2004We miss you so much already. You were so special! I feel it’s only once in a lifetime that we are honored to parent such a great cat! We could not have loved you more than we did. Life won’t be the same with that empty bowl and empty bed. We hope that we get to see you again.Angela DurandHouston, TexasJanuary 11, 2020
12/8/2006 - 1/8/2020Kaysie you were the best girl. So smart and loving, not once have I ever heard a growl or complaint from you despite all the struggles you have had to go through over the years. You always kept your brothers safe by watching over them and never leaving their sides whenever they were around. You comforted me through many ups and downs too. I can never thank you for all the joy and peace you brought to our family.
Yesterday was one of the hardest days I have ever had to go through. You are a tough girl and I could see how tired you were and we were missing you even before you were gone. You have taken a part of our hearts with you on your next adventure and while you are missed so very much now, you will never be forgotten. You are forever a part of our family history and stories of you will be told to all who will listen. We Love you, Our Sweet Kaysie Girl.

8/16/2006 - 1/9/2020Our sweet friend Banyon was with us for over 13 years and was one of the best gifts if not the best we ever had. All those years are full of so many fun and loving memories from long camping/hiking trips to short day trips to the river. Banyon’s life will forever be celebrated and will always hold a special place in our hearts. Until we meet again dear friend....we love you & miss you greatly!

4/23/2007 - 1/10/2020Hemi was the most amazing, loving, compassionate dog ever! Which is what lead him to be a great firehouse dog. His love touched so many people. Whether it was the brothers and sisters in the firehouse or just random strangers. He helped many people cope with illness or through a grieving process. He also cared for us so much when he had finally reached the final point where he couldn’t do it anymore, he went with a smile on his face that I can never forget even if I wanted to. I know his memory will live on in all of the people that he affected and helped.
All of this we learned after his passing, that’s when people really came out of the woodwork to give my wife and I their condolences. They also offered their condolences to the firefighters as well. In his final resting place will be a Maltese cross and his badge, which will never be worn again, it has been retired. So when you pass a fire station think of him sitting outside scanning people who walk by for treats!

Thank you so much Hemi for the easy pal, we’ve got it from here...
