2/1/2003 - 8/31/2018Ms. Maude was one of the most gentle souls that ever lived. She loved everyone and every creature of any kind. She brought home new born squirrels, frogs and lizards in her mouth , hoping they could stay in the house and be her buddies. She would mope when I took them back outside. The picture is her after a romp in the woods with some of her wildlife friends. She became friends with a wild bunny who lived around my home. Once when Maude didn't feel well, she didn't go out for two days. the bunny actually came to my sidelight window at the front door, peering in to find her. I never met anyone who didn't love Ms. Maude, but my four year old granddaughter really adored her. They would sit hugging and just talking about whatever. To help my granddaughter, I threw a rainbow themed almost Sweet 16 party 5 days before I had her euthanized. It was a big success and hopefully that is what my granddaughter will remember with a smile.Sheryl ShadburnSt. Petersburg, FloridaSeptember 13, 2018

If your love could have saved Maude, she’d have lived forever!
You rescued her as a puppy and gave her an amazing life.
She’ll be missed by us all!

Love you!

I know you’ll only have good memories of Maudie after the pain dims. She was a sweetie and I’m happy she was an ever- present and loving companion. You had a great many years together and that’s truly a blessing!
Love you,
