About Max
10/25/2007 - 5/15/2017
Oh Max, how we miss you! You were such a loving dog and so very easy to love. You'd do anything to please us. Everyone who met you immediately liked you! There will never be another dog quite like you. You got sick so fast; we knew you didn't feel like your perky self. We hated to say goodbye but knew it was your time. R.I.P. Maxie - we'll never forget you!!

We got Max from our daughter and her family who live in Ohio. He was around three or four when we put him in the truck and took him home to Kentucky. We thought he might have some trouble adjusting to life at our home but oh were we wrong. He came in the door and made himself at home. We had another dog and cat, Brad & Callie. They welcomed him right away. He was such a good natured dog and LOVED it when company would come to the house! He loved to eat and spending time with us. Also loved getting his treats. He loved riding up front with Wayne in the truck. People driving by would point and smile when they saw him. We never did know what breed he was but guessed he was part labradoodle, part wolfhound.

Max was a great dog and companion, one of the best. He arrived at your home just in time to keep Brad company in his last days and to ease your sorrow at Brad's passing. We will always remember those soulful eyes and kind demeanor. How we will miss his greeting at your door.
