Light a Candle

I lost my basenji girl a week before you lost your Papa. I had to light a candle ...what a handsome boy he was.Mary Flaherty - December 19, 2015
It was a pleasure to know this little guy and it is very sad that he is no long with us. I was bit by a dog as a child and therefore always had reservations being around them. George changed that for me. He was very loving and made me feel at ease around him. Whenever I came home I was always greeted warmly. If he was at the other end of the house he would barrel down the hallway to say hello. Alway happy. Alway remembered.Paul W. - December 17, 2015

I sent a note on my phone but I don't believe it was submitted. I wanted to make sure that you received my condolences.

I remember vividly the first time I saw George. Peggy and I were manning a charity booth and we spotted him. He was truly gorgeous. I also remember that he seemed somewhat stunned (detached in spirit). You gave him a great home and Peggy and I thank you for adopting him. His first years may not have been wonderful but his last were good ones with you.

George was a wonderful grand doggie. He always greeted me with a jump-up every time I came to visit. He loved his ears scratched up until the last day I saw him and it was my pleasure to give him all the love he deserved. He was a great dog and will be missed deeply.Carolyn Hilpipre - December 16, 2015

I love these adorable photos of sweet George! You gave him an incredible life! He was happy and loved, well cared for and cherished <3 Every dog should be so lucky! <3 I know that his absence leaves a wound on your heart... but I also know that you did everything right for him - and with time, the memories will bring more smiles than tears <3 **hugs** to all who loved your handsome George! <3Dr. Dawnetta Woodruff - December 15, 2015
