Bella
8/31/2006 - 4/2/2020Bella was my first dog. I picked her up in Indiana when she was 10 weeks old. As we were driving back to Chicago, I realized I had no crate. No collar. Not even a leash. I was not prepared. I did not realize what I was getting myself into. I quickly fell in love with the little creature and spent all of my free time with her. She was with me when I got married, had 2 babies and moved 3 times. She was a city dog most her life and loved the lake and festivals. She was the center of attention. As she grew older and slowed down, she spent a lot of time sleeping and became a sort of fixture in my home. We would all stop and pet her and love on her. I will miss her everyday for the rest of my life. My sweet Bella girl.Jessica NunziataPark Ridge, IllinoisApril 3, 2020

Such a beautiful tribute to a beautiful girl! Thank you so much for all of your kind words, Jessica. It was truly my honor to be there for you and Bella. It was so easy to tell how loved she was and how much a part of your family she was. And I'll never forget her sweet face greeting me when I arrived, in spite of her not feeling her best. You gave her an incredible life and a peaceful, dignified passing, as hard as I know it was. I am thinking about you and sending so much love your way. Fly free, sweet Bella. You will never be forgotten. 💜Christie Comm - April 9, 2020
I will miss my little Granddog, Bellie, my daughter's pet soulmate. Not one time did I come to visit my daughter's home that she wasn't overly excited to see me. In these latter years she had such a hard time walking, no matter, she would drag herself to the front door with a snort and a yip to give me my warm greeting. It's pretty special when a pet is happy to see us, I was blessed. It is going to be tough to visit and not have Bellie there. Life is short, but the life of a pet is even shorter, almost cruel for us humans. And, the hardest experience in life is loss, here we are leaving a candle. Jessica had Bella for 14 years and now her Dear Father has Bella until we can meet with him again...he will especially love Bella because she was with his baby when he couldn't be...I'm sure she's told him many stories by now. We will miss you Girl, but we will be with you again in a much better place, where we will play forever and ever... Amen....Mary Murray - April 7, 2020
