Chippy
2/14/2010 - 9/12/2020From the moment Chippy found us she brought joy and happiness into our lives. Her presence was always comforting. She was an exceptional cat who made us laugh, made us love . . . and now she makes us weep. Our hearts are broken, and we weep for the emptiness in our home. We know she had to leave this earth, but 10 years was not long enough to love her. We miss her loud purr, her playful, sweet demeanor — we miss everything about her, more than words can say. She’ll be in our memory and our hearts forever.Kurt & Rebecca LotspeichPalmetto, FloridaSeptember 17, 2020

The loss of a pet is unbearable. Time and memories help. But there will always be a spot in your hearts for Chippy. My deepest condolences.

We have so many happy memories of Chip. Chip would like the tears of those who grieve to be happy memories and all the joy she brought to so many wonderful friends.

May the memories of your precious chippy soften the sadness in your hearts. My deepest sympathy for the loss of your beloved Chippy. She may no longer be by your side, but is forever in your heart. ❤️🐾 I found another poem.
Pawprints left by you.... You no longer greet me, as I walk through the door, Your not there to make me smile, to make me laugh anymore, life seems quiet without you, You were far more then a pet. You were a family member, a friend...A loving soul I’ll never forget. It will take time to heal, for the silence to go away. I still listen for you, and miss you every day. You were such a great companion, constant, loyal and true. My heart will always wear, the pawprints left by you.

I loved the pictures of Chippy she was a beautiful girl with big gorgeous eyes. Over the rainbow bridge until you meet again. Her spirit lives on until then.

Dearest Becca and Kurt,

It has been eight days since Chippy left this earth and went to Heaven waiting for us, to purr loudly again, when we just come near her and present us with her beloved stuffed mouse to us to thank you for bringing many years of happiness into her life. She went peacefully on your lap an slipped into where there is no pain or fear. We will all meet again and see her beautiful eyes and her sweet soul. Until then, wait for us, Chippy.

So sorry for your loss of sweet Chippy. There are no words they can fully express our love for our wonderful feline friends. They bring us so much joy in our every day lives that we often come to take them for granted. They leave such a huge hole when they go. Fortunately, we are left with beautiful memories of countless times with them when they brought a huge smile to our face. Know that you will see Chip again one day in the future when she will no longer be separated from you ever again.Rich Catalano - September 18, 2020
There are no words to truly comfort you in this time of sorrow. But one light shines very brightly ... due to the fact that the two of you and Chippy managed to find one another and create unimaginable love ... love that will last forever! She will always be in your hearts. The three of you were blessed, for certain.Pete & Jackie Webber - September 17, 2020
Chippy was such a gorgeous (and TOUGH) little girl! The love you all shared was beautiful and true. She is now your sweet guardian angel. Rest in peace precious Chippy.Elizabeth Merchant - September 17, 2020
Thomas Campbell said “To live on in hearts we leave behind is to never die.” Beautiful Chip wii live on and I truly believe Rebecca and Kurt, you will feel her around now and then. There is something so beautiful about those that just show up at your door one day. You take them in and they never forget that you open your hearts and your home to them. Of course, they rescue US...not the other way around....but we learn that later, don’t we? You know that saying “I know God loves us because he gave us beer.” Well I say I know God loves us because he gave us cats and dogs to take care of us. Take heart, and remember-Chip is waiting for You to show up at HER door one day. All roads lead back to love.💕Shara Catalano - September 17, 2020
