8/1/2005Jolie passed quietly at home on September 16th. At 15, her arthritis had stopped responding to medicine. She was 4 when we rescued each other. I still remember her first night at home. She paced the floors when I went to bed—trying to figure out where she was supposed to sleep. After 15 minutes or so, she climbed up in bed and laid down with her back against me. That’s how she slept every night thereafter. The bed seems empty without her.Rich KoshMurrieta, CaliforniaSeptember 22, 2020
