Movado
3/1/2002 - 1/11/2021Movado was my heart. I was 19 when I picked him up from the SPCA in Newport News, VA. Movado and another grey cat were playing. Movado didn’t have a tail which made him all the more special. I took him home and together we graduated from college and moved to Philadelphia… a new city where we had nobody. But we had each other. There’s not a single life event since I’ve been an adult that he wasn’t apart of. First job, new job, Promotion, New House, Engagement, Wedding, Death(s) he’s always been there.  We met Bydia 2 years after we moved to Philly and the three of us have been together ever since. Our engagement was certainly Movado approved :)  In 2012 Diesel joined our crew. Movado never truly cared for his “little brother” but because of his love for me, he tolerated his presence as long as he stayed at the bottom of the bed. Movado has lived in 6 different homes, lived in Virginia, Georgia and Philadelphia. He was the most chill cat I have met in my entire life. Never opting for the pet carrier..always the front car seat. The only cat I could sit outside with and just lay on a blanket and enjoy the sun. Movado was the people’s cat. Allergic, scared or “hate cats” NEVER applied to him. He simply made friends with everyone including those willing to take Benadryl just to be around him.

I always knew this day would come and the grief has been overwhelming. He truly was my heart and a piece of me died when he did. I will always cherish our 19 years together because no matter what happened, he was my source of comfort and unconditional love that can never be replaced.

Movado you truly were one of a kind and your spirit will live in me forever.

My cheese puff loving buddy, will miss you. We had good times in the Duffield and loved that I still got to see you years later on trips to Philly. Love always, FozzyFarzin K - January 16, 2021
my grandkitty Movado was indeed a handsome special boy. I cat sat him while Wetonia
went on campus to college. She got her first place and she drove from PA to GA to get
her baby. While with me in Savannah, Movado made friends with the black lab
that lived next door. Also comma a trotting to him Grandma and loved on my shoes.
I last saw him at Thanksgiving 2020 and I looked him eye as I got down on floor level
and told him how much we loved him and appreciated all his years of love and
Dedication. My grandson blinked both those beautiful eyes. Cat Moms and Grandmom
Knows that to be I love you too. The World got a little sadder in his transition to
Heaven.
