Ash
11/9/2015 - 1/13/2021Ash, you were forever loyal and fiercely protective, literally protecting me from bumps in the night. Even when it pained you to walk, you never let me go anywhere alone -- a dire wolf if ever there was one. Now my friend, I hope that as you cross the rainbow bridge, that you know what an honor it was to have you a part of our family. But the last thing I wanted was for you to suffer. Letting you go was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. I love you, Buddy. I hope you knew that.

Dear Ash,
I wish I could have spend far more time with you, but know I will always treasure the few memories we had together. You were the goodest of boys and I hope that you can finally be at peace now with no pain. I know you'll be watching over Erin, Rick, and Tommy always!

Why do we choose a new pet to join our family when we know that the day will come when we will have to make the hardest decision of our lifetime? Because the love and companionship they give us in that brief lifetime of theirs is worth it! They are the only creatures on earth that bless us with their unconditional love and loyalty, while depending on us to recipricate with a belly rub and a bowl of kibble. Ash adored you Erin because you rescued him from a lifetime of mistreatment and he spent his last year showing his gratitude. No dog has ever been so lucky as to live a perfect last year of his life wrapped in love and comfort. He will be forever grateful for releasing and relieving him of his incurable pain.Denise Blaze - January 15, 2021
