12/1/2006 - 1/12/2021Our family was fortunate to spend 12 years with Thor. He was our rescue puppy and first baby. Thor enjoyed long walks, even longer hikes, and sniffing everything in between. Eating was Thor's #1 hobby and he loved all foods. He once swiped an entire chicken off the counter and polished off a loaf of Zingerman's bread as well. Thor spent lazy mornings napping in the sunlight by the back door and evenings playing with his family members and asking them for love and scratches. Thor was the very best big brother to Karolina and Jonah and watched over them as babies. Thor spent his younger days attempting to catch all sorts of prey and while he only managed to get close to a couple of backyard rabbits, his biggest successes was finding a frozen, dead squirrel with his favorite friend, Terry. Thor was fiercely loyal and above all (well except for eating meat) loved being with his people. We miss him very much and he will always be part of our family.

Light a Candle

When Karla and Dave adopted Thor he became our Grand-Dog.  Early visits to Crofton included him shadowing Enzo every time he cooked. When it was time to leave Thor would almost panic loosing his favorite chance for treats.
Baby Karolina would have Cheerios for afternoon snacks and I would ask to "share". She would pretend to hand one to me and instead would drop it off the side of her high chair to Thor. They then both "laughed" at poor Grandma.
Jonah and Karolina both hugged Thor a lot and learned how to best give him his favorite non-meat treat green beans.
This year Thor was not as active, however if Karolina and Jonah were on the porch or deck, he was there to watch.  At story time or watching Disney+, with a grandchild on either side of us, Thor was in the middle looking for some attention too. Thor kept Karla, Jonah and Karolina company while working from home and virtual school. We will miss him very much

Although I never had the pleasure of meeting such a handsome dog...I know he was purely awesome by knowing his family. Jeff, Alex, Olivia and myself know the love and light of what fur babies bring to a home and family. We send our heartfelt love and prayers to you during this difficult time. We pray that God’s love and many wonderful memories will continue to heal your hearts and warm your souls ❤️🙏🏾Pamela Price - January 20, 2021
