10/10/2014Today my cat Kitty passed away.
We found that a tumor had developed in his jaw soon after I left for college and was having difficulty eating and was losing weight quickly.
I was hoping that I could see him again at Thanksgiving before having to decide to put him down, but his conditions worsened and my mom and I both agreed that the best thing to do was to just give him the shot before things got any worse for him.
He provided me with countless hours of joy and could always put a smile on my face no matter how I felt. I loved him so much and I'm sad I'll never see him again but it was best thing to do for him.

Tristan Kitty is gone but never forgotten. Rest assured that Kitty did not suffer. your mom took great care of him. I miss hearing your mom call him with that funny hillbilly whistle of hers. And I miss the way Kitty would look so boarded at her and walk ever so slowly toward the door.Gene Dillard - October 18, 2014
I am sorry for your loss. Rest in the fact that Kitty did not suffer. Your mom, Karen, gave him the best care possible.Gene Dillard - October 18, 2014
Tristan, my heart goes out to you and your Mom as you grieve the loss of Kitty as he was a very lovable member of your family. Kitty was lucky to have you as his companion, confidante, and best friend Tristan. With loving thoughts and healing wishes. Aunt BevBeverly Blunck - October 15, 2014
I'm so grateful Kitty came into our lives. He joined our family when we needed him most. He had so much spunk and lots of personality. Kitty was really smart and an excellent hunter. He loved the outdoors and was especially happy out in his Kitty kingdom where he was king.
Kitty I miss you. Home just isn't the same without you. You will forever be in our hearts.
