Clyde
11/7/2001 - 7/27/2015We said goodbye to our beloved companion, Clyde, on July 27, 2015. For thirteen-plus years, he enriched our lives with his hilarious antics and unwavering devotion and affection. His personality was as huge as the void his passing has left behind. His 'battles' with his sister Bonnie were on an epic (and harmless) scale, and his skill at removing all objects from tabletops was unparalleled. He was truly a gentle soul and he is greatly missed by his Mom, Dad, Bonnie, and family and friends. Clydie, we know we will all be together again at Rainbow Bridge...until then, you live on in our hearts and minds.Nancy and Jim GroteSaint Augustine, FloridaAugust 6, 2015

Sorry I didn't get to know Clyde, but your love for him speaks volumes about the kind of people you are. "Rainbow Bridge" was very touching and does fit the description of my dream about me Dad being reunited with his beloved pets. God be with you both.

As the Scarecrow said to Dorothy, " I know I have a heart because it is breaking" As painful as it is to lose a precious friend and loyal member of our families, what would our lives have been without them!
I will always remember the gales of laughter as we watched the video of the "Clash of the Titans" between Bonnie and Clyde. We will miss that handsome gentleman.

Much love and peace,
Deb & Jerry

I feel privileged to have met Clyde when he was a scrawny little pipsqueak and I watched him grow into an 18 pound hunka-hunka furry love. All of our cats are special, but Clydie was extra special. I know you're hurting so much now because it's the flip side of the extreme joy he created while he was alive. My love to all 3 of you.Paula Jaslow - August 10, 2015
Clyde was truly an amazing cat! If you met him, you would never know he had been through so many medical issues. I think we could all learn a lot from Clyde and how he lived life, always happy no matter what! He was so lucky to have Nancy and Jim as his family (and of course they were lucky to have him!). I know he and all his antics are missed dearly. I hope Bonnie is taking good care of Nancy and Jim! I am thinking of them all during this hard time.Jennifer Vencil, DVM - August 10, 2015

Dear Jim & Nancy,
I'm so saddened by the passing of my furry, 4 legged nephew Clyde. I know you & Nancy gave him the most wonderful life any animal could possibly imagine. You guys & Miss Bonnie are in our prayers. Clyde was one of the most loved cats I know & we will thank god every day for having him in our lives.
We love you,

Dear Jim and Nance,
What a beautiful testimonial to Clyde! Your description of his antics made me smile and
knowing how much you loved and will miss him brought me to tears. The photos you posted
are wonderful..what a personality! He was a wonderful cat and he couldn't have been more loved.
You are in my thoughts everyday and I hope the pain of grieving becomes less with each passing day.
Love you, Mimi
