12/1/2002 - 12/7/2015Bella was the sweetest girl who loved everyone. She will greatly be missed and always will be loved. This poem helped me through the loss.

The Last Battle

If it should be that I grow frail and weak,
And pain should keep me from my sleep,
Then will you do what must be done,
For this - the last battle - can't be won,
You will be sad I understand,
But don't let grief then stay your hand,
For on this day, more than the rest,
Your love and friendship must stand the test

We have had so many happy years,
You wouldn't want me to suffer so,
When the time comes, please, let me go,
Take me to where my needs they'll tend,
Only, stay with me till the end,
And hold me firm and speak to me,
Until my eyes no longer see,

I know in time you will agree,
It is a kindness you do to me,
Although my tail it's last has waved,
From pain and suffering I have been saved,
Don't grieve that it must be you,
Who has to decide this thing to do;
We've been so close - we two- these years,
Don't let your heart hold any tears

Light a Candle

Rest in peace, sweet Bella. I feel honored to have known you if even for a little while. You were loved deeply, and you will be forever missed by your loving family. The stars shine a little brighter now that you are amongst them.Courtney Graham - December 13, 2015
The photo of your Bella reminds me so much of our sweet Brittney, who's pushing fifteen good years. Things are not the same for her anymore, and I'm struggling to make the right decision regarding letting her move on. The poem you shared here was so beautiful. I think I'll read it again before this is all over. Bless you, as you grieve for your little loved one.Leslie Benjamin - December 13, 2015
