2/5/2016Our Ludo came to us one day in a shelter in Tucson, AZ. We went in for a small dog & came out with a big, scared black lab/pit mix. Over his 15 amazing years, Ludo moved across the country with us. He slept in our beds & on the couch. He played with his feline brother Pepper. He loved long walks & chewing up stuffed animals. I can't put into words how much I'm gonna miss him. My house feels so empty without him. My mom & brother & I feel so lost not having him around. Everything just feels so out of balance... But Lap of Love was wonderful. They made a horrible thing, into something bearable. My family wouldn't have been able to do what we did without Dr. Christie & Lap of Love.
My Ludo had a soul too beautiful & too pure to be gone forever.
We all miss him so much...

What a beautiful tribute to your beautiful, amazing boy, Sara! Thank you for sharing Ludo's story and adorable pictures and also for all of your kind words. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it! I could tell as soon as I met him what a special boy he was and how very, very loved he was too. He couldn't have been luckier to have such an incredible family who took such wonderful care of him, including making the decision to set him free when you did. I have been thinking about you guys and hope you are all doing okay, as difficult as I know it is. I am so glad I got to meet you and Ludo - lots of love to your family!Christie Comm - February 15, 2016
