7/12/2000 - 8/5/2016Sonny was the sweetest little boy and such a fighter. He brought so much joy to me and was gift. I'm happy he is so loved and remembered. There is a hole left without him, but I know he is peaceful now. I'll miss him everyday.Jourdan HendersonRoyal Oak, MichiganAugust 8, 2016

Sonny, I will miss watching you stumble around Jourdan's house. You never seemed to mind that your legs did their own thing sometimes. :) You just loved your life and living with your fantastic Sister Mom Jourdan and Aunt Elsa. I'm sad I didn't get to say goodbye, but I know it was time for you to go.
Love, Lisa

Sonny you are my sweet cuddle buddy. I will never forget the expression on your face when you wanted me to pick you up and hold you like a baby. You made me laugh and brought so much joy in my life. I am so grateful for the time I got to care for you and Loki because you taught me about a different kind of love. I will miss you everyday. You'll always be #1 in my heart. Everyone knows that Jourdan loves animals- all kinds. Chickens, horses, lions...but especially cats. Loki and Sonny are part of her family. Anyone who has had the good fortune of meeting Loki and Sonny knows that those two are opposites. Loki always plays it cool. Sonny could be a bit goofy. Loki is the alpha cat. Sonny just liked being one of the gang. As different as they could be, they made a good team- like the odd couple! I only met Sonny a few times when I would visit LA, but he always made me smile. He was very loved by Jourdan (and Loki). He'll be missed by us all.Sara Beth - August 10, 2016
From the moment I met Sonny, I knew he was a special cat; but I never would have guessed just how gentle, hilarious and resilient he would show himself to be until he was faced with such steep challenges. Despite years of health setbacks, he remained loving, curious and tenacious until the very end. He was deeply loved and equally loving in return. We will always miss him and never forget his sweet face.Jessica Ripka - August 10, 2016
Sonny was... my first pet. I've had him since he was three years old. He lived 13 more years, and although I wasn't with him for those later years, he was always in my memories. Whenever I thought of home, Sonny was there. I treasure all the time we had together. He made my life easier as I transitioned to a new school, in a new apartment. He made the place feel like it was really our own.

I'm glad he toughed it out as long as he did, so that I could see him when I got back to the US. I'm so glad I was able to be there on his last night. I know dad will miss you as much as I do. I love you Sonny, always have and always will. Thank you for being part of my life.
