We adopted Oakie from the local shelter. He had no front claws and was initially a house cat. We slowly taught him how to walk a short path near the shrubs at our front door. He spent countless hours talking to the birds and on a few occasions caught a mouse or a mole. He was very proud of that! Our hearts remain heavy but we know that Oakie is no longer suffering. We know that he is at that Rainbow Bridge waiting for us when our days end. Oakie, we shall never forget you, youwere a gift to us.Diane GarrowNorth Attleboro, MassachusettsDecember 9, 2017
