7/14/2019Roscoe was such an amazing dog. We adopted him from Front Street Shelter and I walked right by him as he was acting so crazy and freaked out in the kennel. My friend who volunteered there suggested him and initially I was hesitant but it was up to my other dog, a German Shephard named Lucy to decide. Lucy didn't like anybody. She loved him from the start. She set the rules and he was happy to go along. They caught squirrels together, wrestled, chased each other. He was heartbroken when she passed but then he welcomed new dogs, Molly, Chloe and most recently Benny. He was the big brother and protector to everyone. Roscoe was the sweetest boy and the best friend when you were upset. It was heartbreaking having to put you down but cancer is horrible and I wanted to say good bye when you could still go on walks and have fun. We will miss you terribly.
