1/1/2005 - 8/20/2019Sergeant "Sarge" I miss you already. Your passing was not easy for me - it broke my heart. But I heard you telling me you were ready. You have taken a piece of me with you. I will never forget your annoying whine or your silly grin! You were such a blessing in my life. Emma and I will talk about you often and will be reunited with you one day.Stephanie LaCourTampa, FloridaAugust 21, 2019
Light a Candle

The greeting we would get when we would visit made it impossible to not feel like a million bucks (because this dog was SO EXCITED to see us!) and also impossible to not wrap your heart around Sargie. The desperate whines and barks of delight while he was doing everything he possibly could to get into our lap (whether we were sitting or not!) and get his doggie paws as close to being around our necks as a dog can manage... there was nothing like it. I never met a dog who truly thought he was more of a human than Sarge. He tolerated my kids laying on him and dressing him up without complaint. We miss Porter's boy lots and lots... thank you for sharing him with us Steph.Jennifer Fortson - August 22, 2019
