1/1/2006 - 9/19/2019Xavier was my first pet who was all my own. I got him in college and he snuggled me every night while I slept, sat in my lap and watched TV with me, and followed me around the house, even coming when I called. He was the best companion I could ever have found and we were a little team. He was a constant in my life through my early and mid 20s even as everything else was constantly changing - apartments, jobs, boyfriends, even moving states. I am going to miss him so much. It felt like he was a part of me that is now missing. It is painful for me to deal with, but I cared for him the best I possibly could and gave him a great life full of love and petting and snacks. He was diagnosed with lung cancer in the fall of 2018 and with treatment lived a whole additional year since his diagnosis with good life quality, and for that I am thankful. I am honored that I was able to have Xavier in my life.Kimberly AdamskiNew Britain, ConnecticutSeptember 23, 2019
Light a Candle

Xavier was one tough kitty, and he and his mom were a perfect team. It was an honor to meet this handsome gentleman and hear of his famous (and, of course, sometimes infamous) exploits. Rest peacefully Xavier, you are so very missed by the many whose lives you touched.Rachel Burns - September 26, 2019
My eyes are watering, but not for the allergies. I’ll never forget the songs you sang me when I fed you and the head-boops you gave me after. Miss you, hamsum prince.Chris Peshka - September 24, 2019
What a beautiful kitty Xavier was! I just posted about losing my own best feline friend and really related to your comments. We are so lucky to have these little angels in our lives. Sending love and light to you!Courtney Lee - September 23, 2019
