10/1/2001 - 10/18/2019Simon was our boy. He made us a pack. He trained us how to take care of him and we loved every minute of it. He was a quirky little guy - more into himself than others. We strongly believe that he considered us his butlers and we were more than happy to oblige. But in his own Simon way, he was loving and sweet. He gave us a reason to get up in the morning and to come back home in the evening. We are at a loss without him.Wendy CohenLake Wort, FloridaNovember 3, 2019

Thinking about you guys and how much love and joy Simon brought into your lives and how loved he was! It’s never easy making that “final choice” for our fur babies, but in MY experience with Lap of Love, they truly make a heartbreaking choice a little more bearable. Simon will be missed FURever, but will always remain in your hearts. Love you!Jennifer Danner - November 4, 2019
We never walked simon—HE WALKED US. And if he felt like stopping in the middle of the street, we became traffic officers, directing cars around us. When we left our house to visit simon. (Yes, simon!), we asked each other a few times, “do you have the chickee?”, in a panicked voice. We were afraid to walk into HIS house without it, as he YELLED. if it was not forthcoming. Simon was very patient as i put it in his dish, mixing it with his food. He loved the way Grammy cooked. King Simon ruled the house. One person rubbed his head and another scratched his butt. His every wish was our command. Don’t ask me why....that’s the way Simon established the household, and we all followed his rules. Stubborn, independent Simon. AND SMART. When Simon visited us, HE determined when it was time to go home, but he always licked my face goodbye before he left. “Give grammy a kiss goodbye”, and simon ran to me. A small price to return to his crib.Bonnie Picunko - November 4, 2019

I had the grand honor of being a pet walker for Simon for a time. Always a determined soul with his own agenda, but a friendly and loving little guy. Simon had the unique way of once meeting you, always stealing a place in your heart. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to know this kind soul and his loving family. Rest In Peace, sweet Simon. ♥️Kimberly Paradise - November 4, 2019
