Boomer
5/21/2006 - 1/20/2020In Loving Memory of our sweet Boomer.
The patriarch of our home. You are missed so much. The house is so quiet without you and my heart is broken.
You will always be in my heart and I can only cherish our wonderful memories and know that you are pain free and in heaven chasing balls and swimming and eating good food!! Rest easy my friend. Mommy loves you.

I am sorry for your pain. Although I cannot take it away, I imagine this is what Boomer might say. I love you guys!

Little brother,

Today snuck up on me, but I’m sure it snuck up on you too. Today I escaped my pain and hunger, and went to a place where I can again run free. There’s tennis balls to chase and pools to jump in, but I sure will miss you. I hope you’re not confused and wondering why I’m suddenly not with you. We’ve spent many quiet afternoons lounging together, and it hurts me to think of leaving you.

Before there was Leigh Ann, there was me and Geoff. He is the best dad, and I loved being someone he could rely on. You realize the depths of love though when dad brings home your future mom. I still remember him introducing her to me, and was glad that she really loved dogs. He told her not to play my favorite game with me (laser on the wall), but she did anyways. For years they laughed at the scratches on the wall as a memory of those early days. We had a ton of adventures.

Now, you’ll be THE dog of the home as your time has outlasted mine. We’ve watched two babies come into this world, and I want you to protect them. They’ll have a lot of memories with you, so you should learn how to behave. Make sure to encourage outside play with them, and snuggle them on their hard days. Bring comfort when they’re sad and nuzzle them to joy.

Mom and dad are going to take my death really hard. Stay close to them; they’re going to need you. And you’ll need them.

Little brother, I love you. No one will ever truly understand the bond that forms when no one else is around. Though you may no longer have my food bowl to try and steal from, I’m always with you.

Forever,
Boomer

Boomer you were such a sweet boy. Always wanting to be petted and played with even when you were so sick. Rest In Peace and continue to watch over your family.karyn brewer - January 24, 2020
We loved him too. He was Bailey's nephew (even though he was older) and his best friend. He was so gentle and a kind soul. I always loved giving him an extra cup of food when I babysat. I knew he was hungrier that Chance. He will always be my first granddog and Geoff's best friend. May he rest peacefully and always get his fill.Debbie Iseman - January 22, 2020

So sorry about Boomer . He looked like such a happy boy ! We lost our angel Lacey on the same day . Lacey wasn't a water dog - you believe that - a lab that didn't like water ! But everything else about her was beautiful and perfect - just like your Boomer .Paul & Robin Biasi - January 22, 2020

Boomer I had only met you a couple of times and they were within the last year of your long, loved life. I saw how tired you were and how strong you held on for the hearts sake of your mom and dad. I hope you are free of pain and seizures and running to your hearts content with all of the fur babies that have been waiting for you.
And don’t worry about your humans... we got them😍
