11/20/2008 - 1/24/2020What can I say? You're a people dog, not one mean bone in your body. Wedge yourself between anyone's legs and sit back, almost making the person fall backwards. Your goofy personality- jumping in front of tv when an animal is on screen, chasing my son Nate around the house playing tag, playing peek a boo between walls before tackling Match or trying to trip Storm with your paws. Nipping at bubbles, pop balloons, throw yourself on Matt or my stomaches and flop your chin on our faces. I can go on and on.... you had gone through so much in less than a year with diabetes. Tolerating all the insulin needles like a pro. Survived a severe bout of pancreatitis that nearly took you, and now cancer (hemangiosarcoma) was what you couldn't beat. Never losing your dignity in the end, your mind still there but your body couldnt handle it. I will NEVER forget you.

Rest in peace Zelda, till we see you again.

Light a Candle

I will never forget being greeted by your sweet & gorgeous girl- I love how she came right up to me and let me give her a hug... Rotties are just amazing and will always hold a special place in my heart & Zelda was one of the best examples of her breed. She lived her best life with your love and dedication to her care- and was able to say goodbye in the most beautiful and dignified way surrounded by your love...Amy Czarnecki - January 26, 2020
