12/25/2007 - 2/24/2020My poor dear dog who fought so hard for the last six months to keep a brave face while dealing with physical issues - we love you and will miss you terribly. The house isn't the same without you. It was a tough decision but we know that you are in a better, calmer, and loving place now. Love you Ruby.Lutz, FloridaFebruary 25, 2020
Light a Candle

My turn to light a candle, and thank you everyone for sharing your thoughts and love for Ruby. It's been a week and the house is very empty without her. RIP dear dog, and say hi to Josie for us in heaven. We miss both of you terribly.Bridget McCrea - March 2, 2020
I will never forget the sweetest eyes and your happiness after grooming! Love you forever ❤Maria Profeta - March 2, 2020
Since the end of 2017 I was given the honor to care for Ruby and give her a home away from home when her loving family would go on vacation. She was an absolute joy to have stay with us each and every time. She loved to be groomed and pampered but also loved to play and relax. Ruby resembles my own herding dog mix so I was always a little bias with her, Nahla will miss her twin. Ruby had so many amazing and silly characteristics that made her so wonderful to have in your company. Ruby was a genius, loyal, protective, and above all sweet. We will miss her happy face at Water Bowl Oasis and the low talking noises she would make when showing everyone in the room the toy she just found. We at Water Bowl Oasis are sad but also find joy that Ruby is at peace now. As always you are such a good girl Ruby XOXOLynzie Williams - February 26, 2020
Ruby was a wonderful dog. I remember throwing the ball or some of her toys across the back yard and she will bring them back to me every time. She was a happy and loving doggie.
Rest in peace dear Ruby!

Ruby......She always knew when it was me at the door, I was her grandfather for a lack of a better label.
She would let out a grreeeeat to have you here greeting, a quick yelp of acceptance and a happy dance whenever we met at Bridget's house and that made my day every time.

I will miss her dearly on my next visit.

I have cried a river of tears for Bridget, Catie, Sean and June Bug her best dog friend because the final act of love is the hardest decision to make/carry out on their behalf.

She had GREAT caregivers/owners or servants whatever they may be called depending on who you asked.

Owners to one, caregivers to another and if you had asked Ruby she would have told you she had GREAT servants living with her.

Rest In Peace, JOHN
