1/23/2020 - 3/11/2020Our gentle giant, Bruin, went to doggy heaven this week. He was a regal beast who loved everyone - even his little sibling, Stella. There is an emptiness in our home since his passing. We are missing his snoring and snuffling, but knowing that he’s out of pain makes the void bearable.Gale EmighOakland, CaliforniaMarch 14, 2020

I am sure he's running around with all the others from our lives. He will be missed.Derek Salmond - March 17, 2020
Bruin, wherever you are, after so many years living with Gale and his family, I'm sure you were more a human being than a simple dog.Grati Moran - March 15, 2020
Bruin, "The Gentle Giant" has made his way to Doggy heaven, where I hope he meets up with a few of our Golden Retrievers. They would make such good friends. He will be missed, and always remembered. His legacy of how to be a "best friend" and pet. Bruin leaves an enormous emptiness, that can only be partially filled with his lasting memories. "Run free buddy" Enjoy your 2nd life.

It was my honor to meet Bruin, so handsome and such a good boy. It was my honor to meet him, and to help him to peacefully pass at home with his loved ones.Rene Butler DVM - March 15, 2020
I met Bruin when he was just a pup, but whenever I visited, Bruin remembered me. Even this last visit, in February, Bruin greeted me so enthusiastically, the same big puppy I met many years ago. Bruin was a happy, good natured friend and I'll miss him.Susan Andrews Salmond - March 15, 2020
