Kallie was our very first dog and the heart of our family for 16 amazing years. Her final decline came fairly quickly and although she was clearly ready to go, it was a very hard decision. We are so thankful that our vet recommended Lap of Love. Although I was apprehensive at first, the benefits of letting Kallie transition in my arms, in her home, surrounded by love was a choice we will never regret. Dr. Walter was everything we could have asked for and more. He was kind and patient with us, taking time to answer all of our questions, and was welcoming to our other curious fur baby. Most importantly, he treated Kallie with gentleness, love, and respect throughout his time with us. Dr. Walter made an incredibly awful day somehow easier and left us with a sense of peace. It takes a special kind of person to take on this vocation and we so grateful that he shared his gifts with us. RIP our Kallie girl - you loved and were loved every day of your life.
