ADDITIONAL AFTERCARE FEES

To best honor your personal space, our doctors do not arrive with a vet technician.  Therefore, if your family has elected cremation for a pet over 30 pounds, we may ask your assistance moving your loved one after euthanasia has been performed.  If no additional help is available from friends or family to move your pet, please let our team know so that we can schedule appropriately.  The most important thing is that your loved one does not suffer, arrangements for assistance with cremation can be made at a later time.

AVAILABILITY

We are here to answer your questions every day, from 7am - 11pm. Appointments are scheduled throughout the week, please call for availability.

Sometimes pets take a turn for the worse overnight or in a short amount of time, so we do our best to accommodate same day appointments with a few hours notice, but cannot guarantee that.

If this is a medical emergency, please contact your local veterinarian or one of the emergency clinics listed in the Local Resources section.

Let us introduce you to the amazing hospice veterinarian in your area!

Dr. Tiffany

Tiffany Matheson

Growing up in rural Oklahoma I had many pets, some of which included dogs, cats, fish, rabbits, and even pigs.  I spent nearly all my time with them or reading about them and when I was only five years old I told my parents that I wanted to be a veterinarian.

For my 16th birthday I got a Dalmatian puppy named Molly.  Molly was my baby, and she was with me through high school, undergraduate college, and vet school. During my final year of vet school though, Molly became ill with chronic liver disease and 2 days after graduation I had to make the decision to let her go.  This was my first time having to make that decision and while it was very difficult I was thankful that I was able to give Molly the gift of ending her pain.

Throughout the past 9 years while working as a Veterinarian, I have helped many people say goodbye to their babies and I feel privileged to have been able to give them a peaceful and loving last memory.

"Doctor Tiffany and Lap of Love,

Thank you so much. From the first phone call to our final moments your support was phenomenal. This was an incredibly difficult moment to walk through with our beloved Shadow and your compassion and professionalism made it so loving and respectful for our family. Thank you.

While our hearts are broken they are also filled with gratitude for all you did for us."

"Dr. Matheson met us in the park where Mo used to play at the end of the day, she gave us the time to let him pass on his terms, we were all with him and while there's no way to remove the anguish for the living Dr. Matheson removed it for Mo, he was held and comforted as he passed, compared to the way many lives end this was the best possible passing"

"Dr Tiffany was warm and kind, gentle and patient. I was an absolute wreck and wanted to back out of the process several times! Dr Tiffany didn't push me or rush me or tell me what to do; instead she just sat patiently with us assuring me that she would only move forward at my pace. My son was with me and reminded me that our unconditional love for Coco was giving her a chance to leave peacefully and not have any more pain. Dr Tiffany was so kind and patient with me but even more importantly, so gentle with our precious Coco. Thank you Dr Tiffany."

"Dr. Tiffany was amazing. She was so compassionate and answered all of our questions. She made sure our boy was comfortable and we knew he was in good hands with her during the entire process. She allowed us extra time to say our goodbyes and to let us bring out our other pups to say goodbye. During such a hard time for my family, Dr. Tiffany was so comforting for both us and Beau. I am forever grateful that we had Dr. Tiffany by our side through this time."

"I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Tiffany Matheson in the past and we are so thankful she was there when we had to let our beautiful Nemo go. It was so much easier for him just being at home and not having the additional stress of having to go somewhere else. She made the process so peaceful with her kindness and compassion. We are so grateful, thank you so much Tiffany for making such a difficult day easier."
