ADDITIONAL AFTERCARE FEES

To best honor your personal space, our doctors do not arrive with a vet technician.  Therefore, if your family has elected cremation for a pet over 30 pounds, we may ask your assistance moving your loved one after euthanasia has been performed.  If no additional help is available from friends or family to move your pet, please let our team know so that we can schedule appropriately.  The most important thing is that your loved one does not suffer, arrangements for assistance with cremation can be made at a later time.

AVAILABILITY

We are here to answer your questions every day, from 7am - 11pm. Appointments are scheduled throughout the week, please call for availability.

Sometimes pets take a turn for the worse overnight or in a short amount of time, so we do our best to accommodate same day appointments with a few hours notice, but cannot guarantee that.

If this is a medical emergency, please contact your local veterinarian or one of the emergency clinics listed in the Local Resources section.

Dr. Tiffany

Tiffany Matheson

Growing up in rural Oklahoma I had many pets, some of which included dogs, cats, fish, rabbits, and even pigs.  I spent nearly all my time with them or reading about them and when I was only five years old I told my parents that I wanted to be a veterinarian.

For my 16th birthday I got a Dalmatian puppy named Molly.  Molly was my baby, and she was with me through high school, undergraduate college, and vet school. During my final year of vet school though, Molly became ill with chronic liver disease and 2 days after graduation I had to make the decision to let her go.  This was my first time having to make that decision and while it was very difficult I was thankful that I was able to give Molly the gift of ending her pain.

Throughout the past 9 years while working as a Veterinarian, I have helped many people say goodbye to their babies and I feel privileged to have been able to give them a peaceful and loving last memory.

"Two days ago we had to make one of the most difficult decisions for our beloved Oreo. He entered our home 14 years ago as a beautiful beagle puppy. He was truly a beloved member of our family. He got ill and took a quick downward turn. I didn't know what to do, or who to call. I did know that I couldn't let him suffer. I searched on-line and came across Lap of Love. The first person I spoke to was Shanan. Her compassion over the phone gave me the strength and comfort I needed. Through tears, she walked me through the process. That same day, Dr. Tiffany came to my house. Her empathy was much needed and appreciated. She guided us through this difficult day. Oreo crossed the rainbow bridge surrounded by all those who loved him. A part of our heart and home transitioned on 09/09/19. It was an honor being with Oreo to the very end. My family thanks Dr. Tiffany and Lap of Love for allowing Oreo to transition in dignity and peace."

"This is the second time over a hand full of years that Dr. Tiffany has helped us give one of our dogs their angel wings. Dr. Tiffany has the most reassuring manner, and explains everything in great detail, with much compassion and love. We have three other dogs, and having them there, and allowing them to be part of the process in whatever way they choose, was also very helpful. I am so grateful to Dr. Tiffany for her services, and the manner in which she conducts herself with patience, love, and respect. Thank You Dr. Tiffany."
