“There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.”
Dr. Deanna was exceptionally gentle, compassionate, caring and patient. She was so sweet to our dog Belle. She made something I was dreading turn out to be very peaceful and calm. I am very glad we used Lap of Love and highly recommend this service to allow your pet to pass away peacefully in a stress free manner. I am so thankful to Dr. Deanna.
Thank you so much for your kindness, and guidance during our journey of loss. You are all so appreciated.
Our beloved 11 year old boxer Rinnie persevered for about 3 weeks, taking various medications and eating specialized food; however, very sadly, her medical issues worsened and we made the difficult decision to contact L of L. Dr. Elizabeth was so gentle, sweet, comforting and loving to Rinnie, while also chatting with my husband and I which helped us cope with the process of humane euthanasia. I spoke with the staff at L of L several times, and each representative was so sweet, kind, compassionate and patient while answering my endless questions which I asked through tears. Before the process began, it was also somewhat comforting to know that Dr. Elizabeth agreed that it was Rinnie's time. We miss her terribly, as does her little best furry friend and brother Colby (the cavalier in the picture). She is in heaven pain-free, watching over us, and we will love her forever.
My beautiful boy, Vino was 14 ½ and was experiencing pain and discomfort mostly from old age. A friend of mine had used Lap of Love for two of her dogs, so I went online - on a Sunday, and received a call back that same day. We scheduled his euthanasia for the following day. Dr. Kendra arrived on time and was unbelievably warm and compassionate not only to my dog, but to my family as well. She explained every detail of the process and then administered his first sedation shot. During this time, she made a clay imprint of his paw and offered a lock of his hair. When I was ready, she gave him the final shot and he peacefully left this earth. He was wrapped in a soft blanket and she placed a stuffed toy under his head. Less than 24 hours later, I received a call that his ashes had already been delivered to my vet for pickup. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience of the most difficult decision of my life. And then today, I received an email from Dr. Kendra sending her condolences. Such compassion; such professionalism! Then when I posted on Facebook about my experience, I received numerous responses from others who had the same positive experience.
