Lap of Love Veterinarian: Amanda Page, DVM"Deciding "it was time" for our senior boxer was one of the hardest decisions my husband and I have ever had to make. Lap of Love had been recommended to us by a family member, and we felt more comfortable saying goodbye to our beloved pup in our own home. I can't say enough good things about Lap of Love. Dr. Amanda made an incredibly difficult experience a little more bearable. She was calm, comforting, and she didn't rush us through the process. She made sure we understood everything that was happening, and was very reassuring that we were doing right by our girl. From our first point of contact with Lap of Love, to the cremation process, this company was nothing but professional but compassionate every step of the way. We would highly recommend them to anyone who is facing making this difficult decision."Samantha DobsonAliso Viejo, CaliforniaFebruary 18, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Keri Morgan, DVM, MPH"We began the day knowing that we would be saying goodbye to our beloved old girl. Although it’s not our first rodeo, it doesn’t get easier but it does give a piece of mind knowing that she’ll be in the comfort of her home in her final moments. After making a difficult call to Lap of Love, Shelly (who answered the phone) was so dear and compassionate while asking difficult questions. After Shelly found a doctor who could be at our house within a couple of hours, Dr. Morgan came to our house and I immediately felt relief and was comforted by her kindness and professionalism. Dr. Morgan made our Molly’s transition a peaceful and beautiful one. Thank you Lap of Love and thank you so much Dr. Morgan."Sally RaffertySt. Louis, MissouriFebruary 18, 2019

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Sally Lynch, DVM"Saying goodbye to Snoopy was one of the hardest decisions we had to make as a family since Snoopy was such an integral part of our home. But because of old age was taking a toll on his body, Snoopy’s quality of life was declining and we could see that he wanted to rest. We called Lap of Love since we wanted Snoopy to spend his last moments in the comfort of his home, and we are so glad that we did. Thank you Dr. Sally Lynch for being so kind to Snoopy in his final moments and talking us through the process. Lap of Love Veterinarian: Sunday Cozzi, DVM"We were lucky to have Lap of Love help us with the passing of our sweet girl. It was a very hard decision that took place over many weeks. From the start they were wonderful and compassionate listeners. I knew it was getting close to the time that my sweet dog needed this help but my family was not ready and they really helped us to think it through. When Dr. Sunday came to our home she was so kind and reassuring. She had already sent information to prepare us for what to expect and explained what was happening every step of the way. She took her time with all of us and especially our sweet dog. It was a very peaceful and calm way to handle a very difficult and upsetting time. My baby felt no stress. And we are very grateful."Lori BooneAiken, S. CarolinaFebruary 17, 2019

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kendra Healy, DVM"I never thought I would or could go through with this. However, I do take much comfort knowing that we have dominion and power to make these hard choices for our fur babies. A Sr life is only good when your dog is healthy and enjoying the quality of life in the golden years. Unfortunately our girl Coco had taken a quick turn and for 3 weeks was on medicine, barely walking eating or drinking. She had withdrawn from us and was ready.

Friday night my husband and I talked it through, we filled out the paperwork with a request the next day at 1 pm. Dr. Kendra Healy was tremendous. She got to know us like an old friend and loved on our baby girl. She walked us through what to expect and even her experiences in losing a pet. The price is well worth it. There was not any anxious thoughts or fears of backing out. This is a very hard thing to comprehend and as selfish humans we hold on tight. However Lap of Love with always be remembered as a pleasant experience we can fully recommend. Be ready because it happens so fast, then it wasn't as if Coco died but placed in a basket asleep. The services of removal, cremation and assurance they are not going to be put in a dumpster. I take great comfort Coco Chanel will be chasing rabbits and squirrels (the kind the doc assured her she would catch) what a trip my girl had. We love and will miss her forever."

From affirming our agonizing decision that "it was time," to her care and concern for the humans in the house, I don't have adequate words to express how pleased we were with the entire process.

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Jennifer Walters, DVM"Dear Dr. Jen,

Thank you so much for the tender care towards the passing of our sweet dog Belah. I can not say enough how much we appreciate you and Lap of Love. You have given me and my husband so much respect with how much we loved our dog Belah. You allowed us to say good by to her in the best most loving way possible. And this means the world to us.

Belah’s last few days with us were amazing. We took her for car rides, she ate what ever she wanted, she got petted for hours on the sofa, took her to the park, and even got her in the baby stroller for a last long walk.

When you arrived to our home, it was so nice to see Belah perk up, and get up one last time. She was excited to see you and she knew you were a nice person. She went so peacefully. Really like her life. Just a long happy life with a good peaceful ending. Very Belah. She was a gift. True love. What an honor it was to have known her.

So now it is tears, but we have lots of memories of her. Such true love we got to experience. She was just the best, sweetest soul any humans could ever ask for. Our house is empty but our hearts are full.

We can not say thank you enough for all the love and support from you and Lap of Love. It truly helped and you all made such a difference in our lives. We can hold on to all the love that Belah brought to us and eventually bring another dog into our home and share the love!

Thank you for everything you do. We appreciate you beyond words.
