Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kiley Cameron"Dr. Kiley was the perfect person to assist us with HIggins. She was so sweet and displayed as much love for HIggins as we did. She was gentle and made the process comfortable for all of us. Thank you Dr, Kiley."Jeffrey BoleaCHESTERFIELDOctober 3, 2019Sir Oliver Higgins's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kiley Cameron"I don't think it is possible to express to you how thankful we are for you and the care and consideration you gave our baby girl. For Mike and I, that was one of the hardest things we have ever had to do and in spite of that, you made as comfortable as possible for not only Bailey, but us and Roxy too. Thank you so much. We miss Bailey terribly but know that she is no longer suffering and finally at peace."Crystal CarleyRichmondAugust 30, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kiley Cameron"We recently lost our best friend of 14 years and the care provided by Lap of Love and Dr. Kiley made saying goodbye as tolerable as possible. The feelings of gratitude for our life with Barney and the profound sadness of losing and missing him will continue to oscillate, but being with him at home, in his favorite spot gave us the closure and reassurance we needed. I could not have more respect and appreciation for veterinarians like Dr. Kiley who make it their mission to guide families through these difficult times."Jeff WRichmondJuly 28, 2019

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kiley Cameron"This was the "best-worst" experience of my life. Pupple was my companion animal for chronic illness, and had been by my side for almost 13 years. I always knew saying goodbye would be hard, but I imagined it would happen much later than it did. He had always been younger than his years and then one day, just not quite himself. The primary vet said it was probably nothing and sent us home with antibiotics, but he didn't get better. When we did an ultrasound and found a tumor in his belly, I felt the floor drop out from under me. I simply was not ready, and I don't think I ever would have been ready.

Dr. Kiley understood that and helped me take the best possible care of him. I have no regrets because of her. He was comfortable for the rest of his days, and felt well enough for us to spoil him with a party and an endless buffet of his favorite foods. She included all four of his parents and seemed to know what each of us needed and soothed it all -- the worries, the fears, the memories of other losses, the doubts. All the time she listened and knew when to just sit with us and when to offer her expertise. I was the most afraid of him being alone, and she made sure he wasn't. I hated that we were losing him, but we got to say how our last few weeks would be. They were full of love, gratitude, decadence, and acceptance. There were no emergencies, no car rides or vet visits (he was not a fan of either), and no surprises. We slept and ate well, and when we said goodbye he was surrounded with all who ever loved him, with nothing but time to focus on only him, and I know for sure he was not alone."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kiley Cameron"Dr. Kiley, in addition to this email, we also received your card. On behalf of Marguerite and myself, I wanted to sincerely thank you for making the most difficult day as best as could be expected. It was obvious Ditch felt comfortable with you which made us happy. I honestly don't know how you can do this job, but it is obvious that you were meant to. I cannot tell you how much we appreciate the time that you spent loving on him and the other babies before he left us. You are personally amazing and your company is fantastic and we will definitely recommend your services. Again, I can not thank you enough for everything that you did. And as you stated in your letter there is no doubt we will be together again with Ditch because that connection we had is unbreakable and when the time is right, we will find each other again."Dawn BuchanonRichmondMay 28, 2019

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kiley Cameron"Thank you so much for your help saying goodbye to Poe. Your assistance and kind words have meant the world to us. This, unfortunately, isn’t the first time I’ve had to say goodbye to a pet. However, you and Lap of Love have helped make this the first time that the only pain I have is the pain of loss & absence. In the past I’ve always felt a lot of guilt and regret about the end of my pet’s lives. Thank you so much for helping expunge any doubts or regrets I had about our choices. You let us know it was the right time. You reminded us that we got a lot of extra time with her and that we didn’t wait so long that she was suffering more than comfortable. Thank you all so much for making this a peaceful, gentle, and cathartic process. It’s a great thing you all do."Travis WellsRichmondMay 10, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kiley Cameron"As a good friend says, making this decision is so hard, until it is clear that it isn't hard. My sweet, ~16 YO Stella declined rapidly. I felt cared for and comforted from the first hello on the phone. Dr. Kiley was as kind and caring as she could be, and Stella went gently into that good night, in her own home and surrounded by her loving family. Highly recommend this service and these dedicated people. Thank you."Margaret RushRichmondMay 10, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kiley Cameron"I cannot express the gratitude I have for Laps of Love. They have helped our family so much with such compassion. Their resources are so helpful. Even though I couldn't emotionally be there...my husband and brother-in-law told me how professional and compassionate Dr. Kiley is. Thank you Dr. Kiley for being such a wonderful comfort to us during this very heartbreaking time. We will miss old Ralphie boy dearly, but with Laps of Love's help, we will manage."Linda DukeMechanicsvilleMay 9, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kiley Cameron"Hello there Dr. Kiley,
I cannot begin to express to you our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the TLC you gave to our Bits’ kitty cat. Your tenderness, compassion and expertise made a dreaded situation peaceful and comforting to Earl and I.
We so appreciate your picking up Bits and stroking her, asking us about her life with us.
Last week was tough... and we still grieve for her but remember that we were able to give her a painless death with dignity and surrounded by us who loved her greatly. We really like her footprint and lock of her fur. We will continue to share with others who may be faced with the dilemma of putting their beloved pet down how wonderful and caring you were with our family.
We also appreciate the personal sympathy card and insert that you sent us ... perfect timing.
Meanwhile, we will continue to feed and care for our outside kitties and hope they will live a long time as well.
Wishing you and your dog a long and happy time together.
Again, thank you for your kindness, compassion and support."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kiley Cameron"Dear Dr. Kiley,

We feel so blessed to have had you there to help us through Corky's passing. Your warmth and caring spirit and your professional expertise were very reassuring as we went through it. It was so hard to let go of Corky, and then to bury her, but she is at peace now and not suffering, and I feel a sense of peace about it in my heart, that it was time. Thank you so much, Dr. Kiley, and I wish you every blessing in the work you are doing, to help families through the terrible pain of letting their four-legged children go back to God. I think it was one of the hardest things I've ever had to go through.

Peace and best wishes to you,

Debbie Pompano"
