Lap of Love Veterinarian: Toby Goldman, DVM"Dr. Toby had assisted a friend with two previous transitions that Henry and I were present for. When it came time for Henry to leave, there was no question about calling Lap of Love. I can imagine no more peaceful way to bid farewell to a loving companion that to be at home with surrounded by loved ones."Kris KnollLas Vegas, NevadaJanuary 20, 2018Henry's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Toby Goldman, DVM"Our friend, Chloe, had been battling cancer for quite a while and unfortunately, her condition quickly deteriorated. When I took her to the vet, she was so scared and disoriented and I was unable to see her leave us under those conditions. Our vet recommended Dr. Toby. He came to our home the day after Christmas and was so unbelievably kind and compassionate. Chloe was able to go to sleep on her own bed under the Christmas tree, totally at ease and at peace. Our other dogs were able to come out briefly and get closure so that they weren't waiting by the door for Chloe to come home. Dr. Toby took care of the arrangements to have her cremated and communicated to our vet so that we didn't get automatic care reminders, etc. I've had to have dogs put to sleep at the vet because I didn't know about this service existed but I wish so much that I'd been able to give them this same treatment at the end of their lives. I would recommend Dr. Toby to anyone without a doubt. He's an angel."Kaysey CisnerosLas Vegas, NevadaJanuary 19, 2018
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Toby Goldman, DVM"Our family is so grateful for you, Dr Toby. From the moment we introduced ourselves to one another, we felt as ease with this difficult decision. I am grateful to share that Dr Toby made this experience peaceful and calm for our family. Your spirit is caring and genuine and that was made even more known as you treated our sweet girl with love and compassion. Upon walking through our front door, I felt such ease and peace of mind as we moved forward with our final act of care for Mandy. I truly believe that we are healing our family in a more peaceful way because of the care we were shown by you in our home, with our sweet pup. Thank you for your compassion and caring heart. Thank you for the way in which you eased our aching hearts and minds. We can reflect on that morning with a lightness and see it for the gift that it was.

Thank you, Dr Toby,

The Clark Family and our sweet Mandy"

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Toby Goldman, DVM"Dr. Toby came to us last week and took care of our kitty. The experience could not have been any other. Dr. Toby is kind, gentle and expert. I will call on him or on LapofLove for all of our pets. I will never again haul a sick or dying animal to the vet's office to be put down in a strange place or a hated place."Las Vegas, NevadaJanuary 5, 2018

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Toby Goldman, DVM"My husband found Lap of Love and I am so grateful he did. Our cat Rocky of 16 1/2 years had been failing in health and we knew we had to make a decision to let her go. We did not want to add extra stress to her by bringing her to the vet so, when we found Lap of Love we knew it was the right decision. Dr Toby was fantastic from the minute he got to our house. He made sure to explain everything and to make it as comfortable as possible for Rocky and us. As hard as that day was for us Dr Toby was a huge help with allowing Rocky to pass in peace. Thank you for everything Dr Toby!"Mary StrobleLas Vegas, NevadaDecember 25, 2017
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Toby Goldman, DVM"I cannot speak highly enough of Lap of Love.

Dr. Toby came to our house within hours of our phone call, explained what would happen in detail, and counseled us on every step - from how to help our other dog Missy understand what was going on, to how to help our 5-year old daughter through the loss of her pet.

Before he even arrived we received an email with helpful tips for the best ways to spend Shaky’s final hours, which included real bacon and peanut butter sandwiches.

I am so grateful that this service exists and that we were able to have Shaky pass in our home - unafraid - on his fave couch.

Dr. Toby left several keepsakes for us, including a beautiful paw print and a cute little doggie angel for our daughter. Everything was handled for us - no fuss - just the bittersweet emotions that come with having a loved one pass on from a long and happy life.

It was a precious experience for which I am eternally grateful. I highly recommend everyone call them if this service is ever needed in their pets lives.

Thank you again Dr. Toby."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Toby Goldman, DVM"Dr. Toby Goldman was the most compassionate and kindness doctor during this very sensitive and emotional times. He made us realize that this was the best for our beloved Jupiter and that he no longer be in pain. Jupiter went to doggie heaven on December 7, 2017 and Dr. Toby Goldman administered in-house euthanasia. It was very peaceful and he was intensely supportive with our feelings.
Thank you to Dr. Toby Goldman, to Karin and Ashley, as well. Lap of Love is a gift to pets and pet owners. We are forever grateful."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Toby Goldman, DVM"Dr. Goldman turned what was sure to be an awful experience into something really special and dare I say, nice.

We rescued our dog, Sophie, nearly 13 years ago and my 14 year-old son had no memory of his life without her. She more than beat the odds of her two cancer diagnoses. She truly fought the good fight and so it was very, very hard to make the decision to end the battle. Dr. Goldman went above and beyond to work within our limited schedule to come to the house to "help" Sophie. He explained very clearly to our family exactly what each step of the procedure was and how she'd feel during it. His compassion for Sophie and our family was evident and greatly appreciated.

As sad as the whole idea of euthanasia is - we couldn't have asked for a better doctor or experience. Although it was terribly sad to lose Sophie, we've surprised many of our family & friends when explaining how nice the experience was. Dr. Goldman gave us great comfort knowing that we made the right decision and that Sophie was no longer in pain.

Thank you Dr. Toby Goldman & Lap of Love for providing such a wonderful service."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Toby Goldman, DVM"It is always a stressful and emotional time when a family loses a pet. In our forty years of marriage, we have had to say goodbye to four beautiful dogs. We have pictures of them all and often recall stories of the adventures and great times we shared. When Pepper got sick, we knew it was only a matter of time. We did our best to keep him happy and comfortable until we had to face the inevitable. Finding Lap of Love was a blessing. Within seconds of making the initial phone call with Tina, we knew we had made the right decision. Throughout every contact, Dr. Toby and Tina were empathetic, understanding, and compassionate. Those few words can never adequately describe the assistance they provided. It is difficult to describe the process we all go through when we lose a pet who has given us so much love and joy. Dr. Toby and Tina understood that process and the loss we felt. They made us feel as if they had known us and Pepper for years. Their professional experience and knowledge aided us in easing the pain, minimizing the hurt, and sharing in our grief. We have always known there is a special place in heaven for our dogs who have given us so much. We know now that there is another special place in heaven for people like Tina and Dr. Toby. Their sharing and love truly made a significant difference in Pepper’s final days. With all the appreciation we can garner; Thank you Dr. Toby and Tina for the unparalleled service, kindness, and love you shared with us and with Pepper. God bless."Bill and Grace AndrewsLas Vegas, NevadaOctober 27, 2017
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Toby Goldman, DVM"This past Thursday afternoon, we had to say goodbye to our sweet Hunter. Our 14 y.o. Golden Retriever was the most handsome boy with the purest soul and we miss him more than I can explain. Because of his size and his inability to walk at the end, transporting him to his vet, Dr. Strobeck, would be stressful. Dr. Toby was able to come to the house with very little notice and help him pass calmly under his tree in his own backyard with his family around him. Dr. Toby made a very emotional situation easier for our family to go through and I am very thankful to him in handling our special guy with such kindness."jennifer hillyerlas vegas, NevadaOctober 23, 2017
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Toby Goldman, DVM"I am deeply grateful for Dr. Toby Goldman and for the peace that he brought to our sweet, 15 year old pug, Soprano. Toby exudes a patience, compassion and warmth that blankets everyone around him. I would say that he emotionally held my hand through this entire process, listening and responding thoughtfully to all of our questions and concerns. When they day came, Toby made Soprano (and me) feel so comfortable and at ease. It truly was a tranquil and beautiful transition for Soprano, surrounded with love. Knowing that he passed in this way has brought my family and me a tremendous sense of peace and closure. Thank you Dr. Toby! ❤️"Amanda LofinkLas Vegas, NevadaOctober 16, 2017

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Toby Goldman, DVM"I wish everyone knew about and could experience lap of love if that dreadful day comes. The office staff from the very beginning was so comforting and listening to me cry and talk about my dog in a no rush conversation. Dr Toby was so kind and comforting. The process was so peaceful and after a full life Rocky couldn't have had a more relaxed and comforted passing. I can't thank lap of love enough❤️"Jamee CoferLas Vegas, NevadaOctober 11, 2017Rocky Lc's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Toby Goldman, DVM"I can't thank lap of love and Dr Toby enough on the behalf of Rocky and our family. This was the hardest Decision to make and my own vet was of no comfort but from the very first minute on the phone making arrangements I felt comforted by the office staff. And when Dr Toby arrived at our home he was so gentle and kind he brought a glimmer of sunshine on a very dark day. I don't think it could have possibly been more peaceful. Being able to be in your own home. Makes it less stressful for you and your pet. I was able to hold Rocky thru the entire process and he passed peacefully in my arms and for that I will always be grateful! Thank you, jamee"Jamee CoferLas Vegas, NevadaOctober 10, 2017
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Jessica Jensen, DVM"I had my sweet baby Chevy for 15 years. She was a chow/bulldog mix. Her body was healthy but her legs and back were not. She finally got to a point where life was not happy and painful. We called Lap of Love because we knew that having a vet come the house was the best way to ensure that Chevy would not be stressed out and would go to heaven from the peace of her own bed. The people on the phone were extremely nice and Dr. Jessica was amazing. She greeted me with a hug and compassion. This was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do and Dr. Jessica made it very peaceful for my baby. I can't thank her enough."Cathy CunninghamLas Vegas, NevadaOctober 9, 2017
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Toby Goldman, DVM"My kids have been bringing home rescue animals since they were little , so when my grown son called me to say his very pregnant wife was driving in bad weather to go adopt a Bassett hound, that did not surprise me. That dog was our Bella who we sadly said our goodbyes to last week. I'd like to tell you about our Bella.. ... she was a happy go lucky girl that grew up with my 3 grand babies..she had a kind temperament and thru all the impromptu horsey rides she gave, ...every time curious little fingers opened her sleepy eyes, or every time a tail was accidentally pulled, she kept that same hound dog look on her face, but I know she was happy. Eating and sleeping was her thing and she was constantly under foot in the kitchen just hoping I'd trip and drop a hunk of meat on the floor.)) Naptime to her was all day,, at anytime.. She loved to bark at any doorbell ring, any stranger that came into the house and she perfected allowing us to trim her nails, as long as someone was spooning peanut butter on a spoon into her mouth.))!.As exasperating as she was at times we all loved every little nuance that made Bella Bella. When my granddaughter was younger she asked me what the S on Bella's belly meant, and because I didn't want to get into what being spade was to a 4 year old.. I told her it meant Bella was superdog. And it's soooo true.. she was our superdog! We love you Bella, you will always be in our hearts and you will forever be grandmas good girl! I could not have asked for a more kinder gentler way to say goodbye to Bella .Dr Toby was patient and reassuring that Bella's heaven started the day she came into our lives.. Thank you lap of love"Jeanette CahalinLas vegas, NevadaOctober 3, 2017
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Toby Goldman, DVM"Our dearest Bella got really sick she wouldn't eat and got to a point she got so weak. To our horror the vet could not find anything medically wrong. We hoped and prayed she would get through this. After a few days you could see it in our Bella's eyes she had given up she was ready to go. Here is a little on our precious Bella she was a basset hound she loves smelling where the good food was. When no one was looking she would stand on her back legs and get anything reachable on the counter. She used her long nose to her advantage every chance she got. She was there for all my kids when they were born. She allowed my kids to play with her big ears and she would just sit there with a look like she loved them so much. She kept my other 2 dogs 14 young and agile. They loved to play as much as she loved to eat and sleep. She was our Bella. When she got ill we knew it was time to say goodbye and not watch her dwindle away anymore. She was no longer the dog we knew only 2 weeks before. When I called lap of love the person on the phone was so understanding I was calling a lot of places and she just made me feel like she knew what I was going through was the toughest time in my life. When Dr Toby Goldman arrived he made my family feel so at ease that he could see it was time. He talks us through everything and made this sad moment bearable. Bella is an angel now and she passed with a great care thanks to Dr Toby and her family. We love you Bella B. Lap Of love thank you."Miranda CahalinLas Vegas, NevadaSeptember 30, 2017
