Niner was definitely a spicy pup! She enjoyed her life with all her furry and feathery friends. Most of all she loved unconditionally even when we wouldn't share our tomatoes or bananas with her!

Esmé passed surrounded by friends and family. She was in my arms, had a full belly, her favorite toy carrot, and Sadie by her side. My mom was there and Karla was on video chat. She passed with love surrounding her, I couldn’t have asked for a better gift.

Merlin - you will always be in our hearts and minds. We loved you so much and love you still. May you rest easy and dream of chasing mice and playing with your fuzzy toys.

Sadie and Lexi came into this world together and left our home and hearts together. They were sisters and inseparable. As they aged their health declined, but their love for our family was unwavering. We miss their cuddles and kisses and know that although not in our home they left their pawprints on our hearts and will be with us always.

Pappy, I miss you so much. I know you’re playing in the wildflowers with Maga and eating so many Churros and rotisserie chickens in heaven.

Pepper also well known as pepperoni was the biggest heartbreak for my family. If you knew any of us you also knew pepper. Her favorite person was her momma named Autumn.

A poem I wrote in Rocket's memory: The Evidence You were here. Chew marks in carpet binding. Stray pieces of hay and fur missed by the vacuum. Teeth marks in the doorframe. I yelled at you when it happened. Now I look at it and smile because it was evidence that you were here. An empty bed. Toys untouched. Your medication in the refrigerator. You were here. All this love bottled up in my chest and my throat and behind my eyes. Late night tears. All of it evidence that you were loved and you were here.

Charlie brought so much love and joy to us each day. So grateful to have him the last 13 years. We loved him so very much. He is greatly missed and will always have a special place in our hearts.

Jules was the sweetest, chunkiest, chirpiest girlfriend. She loved all of the treats and all of the love. She didn't have a mean or hissy bone in her body. She loved well and left the drool behind to let you know she was happy. Our hearts are shattered but knowing she isn't in pain any longer gives us some solace. We will love her forever and cherish her for always.
