Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
3/28/2015We miss you so much our sweet boy. We miss hearing the shaking of your head when you get up early in the morning. We miss seeing your beautiful face looking up at us with so much love. So many wonderful memories of you we will hold in our hearts. I just bet you are over there playing with some kids and probably trying to get someone to play ball with you. You were one of our greatest joys and we will love you forever.diann freylake forest, CaliforniaMarch 29, 2015
6/19/2000 - 3/28/2015After much thought, prayer and gallons of tears, I made the decision it was time to send Shelby on her final journey. She had been very unhappy for the past week. She was avoiding human contact and spent most of her time alone. She wasn’t enjoying her food and she no longer got excited about being outside, chasing her balls or going for walks.

We woke up this morning, went for a walk – she got to choose the route – had French toast and bacon for breakfast – which she devoured! We sat by the window and between barking at passersby, she let me hold her. Then Dr. Schultz from Lap of Love, came to the house and helped Shelby to peacefully cross over the “Rainbow Bridge”. It was quiet and lovely and Shelby went gently to greet, I trust, all her friends: Autumn, Junior, Chester, Mandy, Sophie . . . the list goes on. At almost 15 years old, Shelby had outlived all her doggie friends.

Yes, it’s been an incredibly painful few days anticipating this; but as I always say, the pain is worth all the joy and laughter she brought into our lives.

I will miss her companionship when I garden, shovel snow and take out the trash. She was the best rebounder ever in our driveway basketball games. She was generous in sharing her “candy” with humans. She could outlast everyone in retrieving thrown tennis balls. She didn’t care for baths, but she always made a mad dash into Auntie Carol’s pool and her own kiddie pool in the back yard. She preferred having her cheek “chewed” and her ears massaged to plain petting. Her future is full of running and playing as she chases after her buddies. Or, in her case, as they chase after her. She likes to be the “chasee”. No more achy legs. No more wheezing. No more trying to hide. No more waiting for someone to turn on the water in the bathtub so she could have a “fresh” drink. No more being awakened at 5:00 AM for walks before I went to the gym. No more running from bagged frozen vegetables, which for whatever reason, scared her. Just wonderful times in her newly perfected body.

Only God loves Shelby more than me; and I know He’ll take great care of her until we meet again. My beloved Pookie Bear – best dog EVER!!! Godspeed.

4/7/2015 - 3/22/2015In Our Heart, Zsazsa.
We thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday, and days before that too.
We think of you in silence. We often speak your name.
Now all we have is memories, and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake, with which we’ll never part.
Always, and forever.
We have you in our heart.

"Goodnight sweet princess, now cracks this noble heart, and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest."

11/26/1999 - 3/21/2015Bud-e was the most comforting little pekenese. He was my middle boy and was in his way aloof but peaceful and calm. When he barked I knew he was serious about something. He was my little last boy too. I am lost without his comforting little kisses and his unshakeable character. He loved everyone and his other two brothers, Louie (Brussels Griffon) and Tee-Jay, (Poodle peke mix) his mentor. The three amigo's were always together, and anyone who knew them knew they were always with me. My home is so silent now. Dr. Brad also met Louie and helped Louie pass this past August. Louie was 12 yr old. Bud-e was 15 this past November and I do believe he missed Louie so much, that his health began to decline. Bud-e became the alpha after Tee-Jay passed the previous May at 18 yrs old. Bud-e became even stronger for Louie, who had cushings disease and really stayed close to Louie, they slept in the same bed and Bud-e always looked after Louie. I am so grateful to Bud-e for his strength and his gift of loving me so much he stayed with me to the end and was my only boy. I am lost without him.Judy SutoMedia, PennsylvaniaMarch 27, 2015

Raven A.k.a Princess Raven
4/15/2015 - 3/24/2015I remember the day that I found Raven, she was in the cage on display to be sold; rough housing with two boy puppies. I'll admit that when I found Raven I knew virtually nothing about dogs and if I had known that rescuing a dog would be better I would have never found my Princess. Raven was my bestfriend, she never wanted to leave side. If I went into the kicthen for a drink of water she would follow me there too! She was going to be 11 years old in April and she was so pretty. She has the cutest little danty face and oh yes she was a Diva! She wanted to rule the house and everyone in it incluidng my

Raven along with my boy dog Max completed my little family and it truly does feel like a void since she has been gone. We really miss her on walks! I hope that there is a place that she has gone too where she can be her old self again without the Diabetes and the loss of her eye sight.

We love and miss you Raven always!

10/20/2003 - 3/23/2015To our dear Bono......our best friend.......a true blessing.....
You stole our hearts almost 12 years ago when we brought you home at 8 weeks old. God made you especially for our family. You have brought so much joy and laughter to our home over the years. You have taught us what unconditional love really is. The days are long and the house is empty without you here. We miss you terribly. But we know that you are in a better place running after that tennis ball once again, waiting to greet us in heaven. You took a piece of our heart with you when you left. You will be forever in our hearts and you will never be replaced. A day will not go on without the thought of your handsome face. We love you more than words could ever say.

9/14/2001 - 3/23/2015Mandy,

It was so wonderful to be adopted by you and we are so sincerely grateful for the joy we shared together for over 13 years. We know you now have your angel wings and are having fun with your toys like Blue Bunny, Gingerbread Man, Red Dog and Valentine’s Bear. We know that someday we’ll be together to play games before dinner, enjoy special meals, sneak in sweet potato chips, have belly rubs and take all the time we want for “pets and loves “ forever. Until then remember … WE LOVE YOU.

Bako Warren
9/24/2001 - 3/22/2015Bako,

We just want to thank you so much for coming in to our lives on December of 2001 at just a mere 10 weeks old. We spent 13 years and six months together making memories, encountering a lot of trials along the way with different diseases and illnesses that were thrown at us--but making memories nonetheless. Bako, you never once complained about all of the doctor visits, the procedures, tests or about any of the 14 medications you took two to three times a day--you were a fighter with a strong will to live. We hope you know we did everything in our power for you to live a long life. There was nothing we wouldn't do for us---absolutely nothing. We loved you more than life itself. Thank you for making our family complete. We are so lost without you. We love you to the moon and back.
