Beau

Beau was a sassy blue heeler that fiercely played, had the best side eyed, and loved her family unconditionally. She filled our home with such joy and smiles (and fur), and she will be missed dearly and deeply.

Penny

Penny, our 14‑year‑old boxer mix and part‑time mystery creature, has crossed the rainbow bridge—probably trotting in like she owned the place. When we first found her, the kids took one look at this tiny, scrappy, big‑eyed pup and confidently announced, “We got a chihuahua!” Penny let that rumor ride for a solid week before revealing she was, in fact, a boxer mix with the energy of a toddler on Red Bull and the appetite of a linebacker. Over the years, Penny perfected several important life skills: • Selective hearing, especially when snacks were involved • Professional-level side‑eye, usually directed at anyone sitting in her spot • The art of the dramatic sigh, deployed whenever humans inconvenienced her • Pretending to be fragile, only to sprint like a gazelle the moment a squirrel appeared She aged like a queen—demanding soft blankets, warm laps, and the occasional treat “for medical reasons.” Even in her senior era, she maintained her signature look: part boxer, part gremlin, part “don’t you dare move me, I’m comfortable.” Penny leaves behind a family who adored her, a house full of fur, and a long list of squirrels who can finally relax. She may not have been a chihuahua, but she was absolutely one of a kind. Run free, sweet Penny. Try not to boss the angels around too much.

Tip

My sweet girl, we saved you from the shelter 8 years ago but in reality you saved us! I’ll miss you opening doors, waiting for daddy by the window, playing with your doggy brother and human baby brother. I’ll miss you playing football, car rides and boat rides. I’ll miss the cuddles and you following us around. Thank you for the endless love, cuddles and holding us when we were sad. Till we meet again mamas.

Bari

Bari was the most beautiful kitty. She was purrfect. We are heartbroken without her, but we are grateful for the 16.5 years of memories, and we find comfort in knowing she’s at peace. I’d like to think she is somewhere with endless laps of love to curl up in, endless sun patches for her to warm in, and a box she always fits in. We will love her forever❤️
