Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
Ally
7/4/1999 - 4/29/2016We adopted Ally from the Tampa Bay Humane Society when she was about 1-1/2 years old and were fortunate enough to share our lives with her for nearly 15 years. We've had many cats over the years, but Ally was special, probably the sweetest of all. She literally had no faults (well, except for nibbling on the potted chives plant on the porch), was fun, social, friendly, and cuddly. She loved her toys, particularly small fuzzy balls, and when she felt like playing, she'd go over to the toy bucket, and just pull one out. It's always hard to say goodbye to a pet, but it was particularly hard with her. She was a very special girl, and we have a lot of very special memories.Pat BernittLutz, FloridaMay 18, 2016
Sir Baxter Aka Baxter Boy
4/13/2003 - 5/20/2016My Baxter Boy, we never said goodbye to you, instead we said "I LOVE YOU"
As you departed on your journey to a place where life is new.
We held your paws and kissed you and your leaving made us cry.
But in the end, we know we will see you again.....

So, we never said goodbye........

We love you Baxter Boy.....your big brother and I......

Vicky
7/16/1996 - 1/2/2013On Jan 2, 2013, we had to make the first toughest decision of our lives. Vicky (Husky/Chiba mix) was 16 on July 16, 2013. She was the aunt of Tasha was our younger one. We will always remember her loving and playful spirit, boundless energy, gentle disposition and wonderfully inquisitive goofy mind. She was the talker of the two. Even after she had a stroke, she was always looking out for Tasha. She loved to go to the beach. On the day that your golden heart stopped beating, God wrapped his arms around you and took you to a place where you will suffer no more pain and where you can run, jump and play and enjoy long walks to your heart’s desire! She was a part of our family for 16 ½ happy years, and we all loved you very much. Vicky passed in her bed surrounded by us.Vicky EdmundsSt. Augustine, FloridaMay 17, 2016
Tasha
5/8/1998 - 5/13/2016On May 13, 2016, we had to make the second toughest decision of our lives. Tasha (Husky/Shiba mix) just had her 18th birthday on May 8th 2016. She will always be our best friend and companion. We treated her like a family member and took excellent care of her...how did she get so old so quickly. We were recommended to www.LapofLove.com through our vet. Dr. Jennifer Vencil, DVM came to our home and was an angel sent from God. She was very soft-spoken, gentle, patient and just caring towards our feelings. We were devastated, but so happy to do this one last thing for our sweet baby. Tasha could be in the comfort of her own home and surrounded by us giving her all the love and attention. We miss Tasha and Vicky so much. Forever gratefulTasha EdmundsSt. Augustine, FloridaMay 17, 2016

Bogie
12/25/2002 - 5/14/2016Bogie was such a loving dog. He was always happy when company came to visit. We decided to get a second dog, this would be a companion for Bogie while we were at work/school. We adopted Desi, our male Yorkie whom instantly thought Bogie was his parent and snuggled up with him. Desi was only 9 weeks old, freshly weaned from his Mom. The two became an inseparable pair, playing in the yard, chasing squirrels, playing tug o' war with their rope toy (Bogie usually being the winner as he was triple Desi's size :) As years passed he became the leader of our small pack as we acquired Desi's mom and another pup from her. He was a loving dog and shared his space and attention freely with the others, he was always a faithful protector of his family.Terri ProvenceChapel Hill, North CarolinaMay 17, 2016
