Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
6/27/2000 - 3/6/2017To my sweet girl, Katie was your name but Bubba Boo is what I called you the most. You are in my heart forever. I miss you so much. The tears have not stopped, but I know you have gone to such a better place where you can stretch your legs out with no pain, and Chloe and Eddie were there to welcome you home. Run fast and free, my love, it is what you deserve for being the best companion I could ever have hoped or asked for. I love you, my angel.Pam RogersAnaheim, CaliforniaMarch 16, 2017
2/24/2004 - 3/14/2017Yesterday morning we had to say goodbye to Mr. Spike. He is with the Lord now and there is no more pain. We are going to miss our Super Spike, our TV star. We will miss his sweet purrs, his 4 am (sometimes earlier) wake up calls, and his sweet face and pink ears. He was deaf and a little blind too but he was a tough old man. He is going to be deeply missed. We love our fur babies so much here. Our hearts are broken, it never gets any easier saying goodbye and the sweetest boy will be missed.Heather RiceNorth Chesterfield, VirginiaMarch 16, 2017
4/19/2003 - 2/18/2017Our beloved Shelly adopted us June of 2003

We kissed our beautiful birddog goodbye on February 18th - which broke our hearts – she was our sunshine - we loved her and we miss her terribly.

3/9/2000 - 3/6/2017Dear wise, wonderful Phred - 17 years healthy and happy, until the past two weeks. This poem says it all....

They will not go quietly,
the cats who've shared our lives.
In subtle ways they let us know
their spirit still survives.
Old habits still make us think
we hear a meow at the door.
Or step back when we drop
a tasty morsel on the floor.
Our feet still go around the place
the food dish used to be,
And, sometimes, coming home at night,
we miss them terribly.
And although time may bring new friends
and a new food dish to fill,
That one place in our hearts
belongs to them. . . and always will.

3/23/2004 - 3/13/2017Sam was my kitty for over 12 years and I could not ask for a better friend. He was the most loving, caring, affectionate, and social cat I have ever had in my life. He was my shadow. He followed me everywhere and every time I turned around, he was by my side. If I had to go out of town for work, he would sleep on my pillow and not eat or move until I came home, and the amount of love that he gave was more than you would think could fit into his little kitty body. Kitty kisses with his eyes were a daily occurrence and he loved pickles. Yes, pickles. This garnered him the nickname, "Pickle Face". Despite having a seizure disorder which required him to take a pill twice a day since he was 3 months old, it never stopped him from being one of the most affectionate and playful kitties I have ever met. He would even come to tell me when it was time to get his pill. He ate with me, slept with me, sometimes even showered with me (yeah, there is not a lot of privacy in your house when you have 3 cats.) From his wanting me to turn the faucet on so he could get a drink, to his taking walks with me outside so he could nibble some grass, Sam was the best kitty and the best friend I could ever have.

In the end, he hid his heart problem until he couldn't anymore. Despite it being the hardest thing I have ever had to do, I know he was ready to go. I sat with him, stroked his head and his paws and let him know that I was there and that he was not alone. I have faith that I will see him again one day and I take solace in knowing that he does not have to worry about anymore seizures and that his heart can continue to sop up all of the love that there is to give without worrying about it becoming too big for his little body.

I love you, Sam. Thank you for 12 1/2 years of love, affection, companionship, laughs, some scares, but over all joy. Rest well my sweet Pickle Face, until I can see you again. In the meantime, Brutus and I will take care of each other. Goodnight, sweet man. Sleep well. Until we meet again.

10/23/2004 - 3/10/2017Sweet Motzie, there is a part of my heart missing now that you are gone. You were my constant companion, my shadow; you were unconditionally loyal, even to the end. I'm happy that you're no longer suffering, and dream of when we might be together again.Barb LanganSt. Louis, MissouriMarch 14, 2017
