Sitka Bailey

Sitka Sitka was more than a dog—she was a constant, a protector, and a quiet source of strength through some of life’s hardest moments. Sitka had a gentle but protective spirit. Even when she was scared, she stood close. She had a way of making you feel safe just by being there—steady, present, and unwavering. She was a beautiful part of a chapter that wasn’t always easy, and because of her, it was never faced alone. Sitka will be remembered for her quiet strength, her unwavering devotion, and the way she loved without conditions. She was deeply loved, and she will be deeply missed.

Weasley

You will always have a home in our hearts. Weasley, you became my family member. My wife found you in a litter of kittens and from then on you both became inseparable. I first met you when you were six years old. I was skeptical, not of you, but of cats as a whole. I didn’t grow up with cats so the whole experience was strange. The first couple of times we saw each other your mom was just someone I was dating to then my girlfriend then my girlfriend who lived with me to a girlfriend I bought a house with to then my fiancée and finally my wife 7 years later. It took months for me to warm up to you, just like it took months for you to warm up to me. You were just as skeptical as I was. Soon enough, I took on the role of loving cat dad. We became inseparable. Seeing you struggle this last week brought of us a lot of pain. I wanted our story to continue because you had become a part of us as we had become a part of you. But your mom and I understood that it was time to say goodbye. Thank you for these incredible 9 years with me and 16 years with your mom. A burrito blanket will always await you. We love you Weasley.

Lebowski

Bowski, we love you so much!! From the moment we went to “just look” at rescue pups 15 years ago and we left with you our life was blessed! You taught us about responsibility, you were there for multiple moves along the coast and you were there when we welcomed our 3 human babies home. You taught the kids how to be gentle and loving to animals and how to be responsible when you would sneak out if the front door was ever cracked open. We will all miss that sweet underbite smile and the was you snuggle up under your blankie at night. We love you so much sweet Bowski boy!

Our sweet Lilly crossed over yesterday where her brother Bo was waiting for her to go play in the woods on their long walks and chase chipmunks. You were the best girl and we will miss you and your brother so much.
