In Loving Memory

Hilde, you taught me about unconditional love and gave me a reason to press on through the good and bad times of life. A piece of my soul will forever be missing until we are reunited somewhere in the great after. I hope you know how cherished you were. I’ll love and miss you forever, always.

Boyfriend was a lover of all people, truly his happiest when he could just sit on a lap, under a blanket, and soak up warmth. Even as a kitten, he preferred to be situated on a shoulder, or in a sweatshirt pocket, just riding around the house with you. Boyfriend was the most intuitive boy, attentive to the emotions of his human friends and preferring to follow his people from room to room, keeping them in his line of sight. He loved sunlight, hunting and fish flakes. In his later years, when play became less accessible, he discovered CatTV, and loved spending time each day just watching birds. Boyfriend was a fighter. Through his long illness, he pushed through numerous emergency visits, a hospitalization, and difficult convalescence. His illness took a toll on him, but to the very end, he found comfort in closeness with his people.

MAX was beyond loved. He was the center of our family. Max was a English bulldog filled with personality. Max left an imprint on everyone he met. You couldn't help but smile when you saw his face. Max will forever be loved and missed deeply.

To the fierce little girl that we adopted 17 years ago. You brought us so much joy and love. I will never forget your French kisses, your yard perimeter inspections, your masterful escapes (getting the entire neighborhood involved!) There is a hole in my heart shaped like Cami.

Your journey ended, but your memory will wallk with me forever. I'll miss you fussy hellos as my heart breaks to say goodbye. You were my favorite hello an my hardest goodbye. I never knew I could love something so much before I met you. My sweet Eddie dog, we have done more together than I have done with any human being. More memories together than I can count. My one constant in life, always there for me. You’re free now, no more pain, no more being tired and sore, running free again with all the other good boys and girls, keeping my mother company up there. Until we meet again, you rest easy my sweet boy, forever my puppy dog, Eddie. 🤎

Your work as a service animal at the Pentagon and your gentle presence in therapy sessions touched countless lives, offering comfort and support in times of need. With the Greenberg family, you found a loving home where you shared many years filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
