Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
7/15/2001 - 5/31/2020My precious, sweet Junie — so many, many years of joy. Such a diminutive kitty. Your spunky personality, your velvety black fur with the white star, your talkative meow and your BIG purr — all these are deep in my heart and my mind’s eye. Darling girl, I miss you so much. The house feels empty to your sibs Mitzi and Zander, and to me. Thank goodness for nineteen years of happy memories. Now you’re running free with Milo and our other dear ones. I’ll never forget you, and I love you!Laura BargerGlenview, IllinoisJune 1, 2020
11/15/2005 - 5/28/2020Sylvie was the best dog anyone could ever ask for. She was my best friend for the past 14 years. She loved everyone she ever met. Her favorite thing was swimming in any natural body of water but she was not a fan of baths. She was the most quiet dog and almost never barked. I'm going to miss the high-fives and after-work hugs.Matt MasonDenver, ColoradoJune 1, 2020
Star Baby
5/1/2005 - 5/29/2020My Star Baby was with me for 15+ years. I was 19 when I got her. A college student, first time on my own and she was there for the start of my adulthood. She brought me and many others so much joy throughout her life. Letting her go was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do but I knew it was the best thing for her, even though it brought me to my knees.Krista CornellRIVERVIEW, FloridaJune 1, 2020
Quinn Montel Gray
10/24/2008Our family was lucky to have had 11-1/2 years of a wonderful life with Quinn. He wasn’t just your “ordinary” dog. He was special. He was amazing, protector of all, a best friend and so much more. He will never be forgotten!! ❤️Steven GrayDublin, OhioJune 1, 2020
7/5/2020 - 5/29/2020YOU ARE EVERYWHERE - ZULU 2007-2020

You are nowhere to be seen, though our hearts feel you everywhere
You are in each sun kissed leaf and dewy blade of grass
You are blowing in the cool breeze on this mild summer’s day
You are glowing within the sun as it illuminates the garden
You are filling all the spaces in your familiar places
You are barking to be let out, to roam free amongst the trees
You are lying deeply in the grass under the shade of the pines
You are sitting in your spot under the telephone table barking for your treat
You are scratching at the door with your paw signaling to go out
You are climbing the stairs and sitting on the landing with your paws hanging over the stair’s edge
You are jumping into the car, excited at the thought of an outing
You are munching on your carrot and your apple and your supplements
You are begging for your favorite treat of challah bread on Shabbat
You are smiling your wide smile and filling our hearts with pure joy
You are sneaking into our bedrooms and lying next to our beds
You are creeping into my room and jumping on the bed
You are gingerly walking on the beach sand, afraid of the mighty sea
You are hiking with us in the forests, but staying away from the stream
You are eating the puppy gates and the bottoms of the kitchen cabinets
You are crying in the box we used to transport you in on the day we were honored to call you our own
You are seldom able to lie down at the vet or for your laser treatments
You are stricken when we leave you at dog care when we go on holiday.
You are ecstatic when we return jumping and kissing us in your joy
You lay by my side and lick my hand while I am in physical pain
You catch my tears when I cry and share my joy
You celebrate our milestones and join us on vacations
You enjoy long walks around the neighborhood, greeting every dog along the way
You are called handsome by strangers and friends
You are known as the sweetest dog with a gentleness and kindness
You never harm a fly; you love every person and creature that crosses your path
You give pure joy and love, loyalty and few worries
You are always there, filling every space, every step of the way

You are everywhere though nowhere to be seen
There is nothing except your presence that can fill this void
Where there is love, there is pain
Our hearts bleed at your loss, but overflow with your memory
You died as you lived, with courage, dignity, love and trust

We will always love you, Zulu aka Zuba, Zu, Zulu Mapulu, Zulli, Ziki, Tippy. Boykie, Boy Boy, Boy,

5/1/2020 - 5/29/2020Today we said goodbye to our second son. We got Comet when our son was barely 2 years old. He was a great addition to our family and lived a very long and happy life. I can hardly remember living without him and it will be very strange not having him around any longer. But he is no longer in pain and can run eternally with his sister Biscuit. He will be missed 💜😢🦮💫Marisa NuhferNorth Tonawanda, New YorkMay 31, 2020
2/14/2006 - 5/30/2020Blayze was so sweet. He never met a stranger he didn't like. He had a way of loving people, and saying things just by looking in his eyes. He always knew what you were feeling, and would always be there for comfort and love. He had a way of making you feel and know, that everything Is going to be alright. Saying goodbye to him was one of the hardest things I’ve had to do, but I am so thankful for Lap of Love to help me show him mercy and give him a dignified and peaceful passing. He loved playing with other dogs and “trying” to “play” with the cats! Lol he loved them, they didn’t love him so much. He loved watching us pick veggies and eating the carrots in the garden and loved playing in the kiddie pool! He loved peanut butter and French fries! Lol he loved the snow and rolling in it! He brought so much Joy to our lives. We will miss him forever!Brooke NeilMustang, OklahomaMay 31, 2020
8/4/2010 - 5/27/2020Clyde, from the moment we saw you with your 12 brothers and sisters we knew you were our boy. Blue eyes looking back at us. You were the best boy! Your easy going ways and never ending love for everyone you would meet. The babies loved you and you were always gentle and kind. Thank you for the love you showed us. We hope your happy and healthy on the other side of the rainbow bridge. We miss you. Your forever in our hearts.Bonnie & Jay Gabel & PeplinWest Falls, New YorkMay 31, 2020
Ginger (mama Roo)
11/12/2006 - 5/30/2020Ginger loved everyone and was the sweetest dog ever. We called her Mama Roo because she loved everyone and everything.
She taught all our animals who passed through or stayed in our home how to love and be loved. She occasionally would gently remind some "little thing" that they were not acting appropriately and put them back on the correct path. I was able to work out of our home from the time we brought Ginger home at 8 weeks until she passed. When I would leave I would tell Ginger to "watch over the little things". She always took her job seriously. When I received a call one day from my 20+ year old daughter and she stated "Ginger is bossing me around." I reminded her she was one of the "little things" and asked her what she was doing that would cause the aforementioned "bossing". There was silence on the other end of the line. LOL We loved Ginger as much as she loved us. She will be greatly missed by so many. We love you Mama Roo!
