Frankie
12/11/2009 - 2/4/2020Frankie came into our lives when we were just creating ours together. We had just graduated college, moved in together, and soon after felt like we were missing something. Frankie was with us through all of our moves, our wedding, the birth of our children, and all of the little moments in between. For almost 10 years, Frankie greeted all of the changes the same way she greeted people she met - with love and excitement. Without her in our family, there is a permanent hole that can never be filled. Her personality was larger than life and her absence is heavy. We will forever miss her and love her as our first baby.Heather KrausPittsburgh, PennsylvaniaFebruary 5, 2020
Bella
12/21/2006 - 1/31/2020Nobody could light up a room, get a person to smile, or relieve a bad day better than Bella. She loved endlessly and she was very loved in return. She completed our hearts and was our confidant for all of our lives ups and downs. There could never be another Bella and we miss her every day. We love you Bella!Deanna GamberdineBloomingdale, IllinoisFebruary 5, 2020

Mieko
5/5/2002 - 2/3/2020It feels surreal writing this, but with much compassion and many tears, we said goodbye to our sweet Buddy on Monday morning. Mieko was a consistent source of joy and companionship in our lives for nearly 18 years. Zona and I were 5 and 25 when Mieko joined our little family. There are too many memories, life events, and funny stories to even begin. He was ornery, funny, loving, protective, and a great listener. He didn't have any furry friends (because he wanted to eat them all) and he had terrible table manners, but he was our best friend and brought more happiness and comfort to our lives than we could ever imagine was possible. On his last night, Zona and I made a bed on the floor and stayed up all night holding and loving him. The vet arrived the next morning and Mieko passed away cradled in our arms surrounded by his family. I know Mieko could feel our love deeply. This pain is unbearable at times, as so many of you know. But we take solace in our memories and the unconditional love we shared with and received from Mieko.
