Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
11/7/2008 - 10/23/2020Our boy left us after many years of love, laughs and memories that will last a lifetime. Those that knew Deuce, knew how loyal and protective he was. When my husband was deployed, Deuce never left my side. When our daughter was born, he would lay on the floor in her bedroom or by her swing. He was our gentle giant and our best friend. We loved him to the moon and back. Our baby is greatly missed. I've missed him every day since he's been gone and I don't think that will change. It's hard to lose family. I hope that when it's my turn many years from now, I'm greeted by our boy because if I know Deuce, he never goes far <3Jennifer DoyleSaint Petersburg, FloridaNovember 14, 2020
Juggernaut (Juggy)
1/16/2007 - 10/15/2020Juggernaut, you were a perfect gentle soul. I was so lucky to have you in my life. Your calm nature was an example to so many foster dogs that passed through our lives, helping them to adapt from stressful or abusive situations and blossom into amazing companions just like you had. I love you and miss you every day.Leslie KinderSt. Louis, MissouriNovember 14, 2020
6/7/2007 - 11/11/2020Rogan didn't have such a great start in life, and I was privileged to help make his last eight years happy ones. I urge anyone thinking of adopting a greyhound to read "Adopting the Retired Racer" to see if this relationship is right for you.Mary MagillColumbus, OhioNovember 14, 2020

3/16/2007 - 11/12/2020Our sweet Lucy crossed the Rainbow Bridge. She was almost 14 and was the best companion we could have asked for! She was the last of our three Shetland Sheepdogs, and a fine big sister to our rescue. She traveled, to countless states, hotels and beaches, and spent her retirement years in Florida. Yesterday she enjoyed a cheeseburger, her favorite ice cream, and watched her old family vacation movies with all of us- she was the star of every show. We will miss this beautiful, smart and sassy dog forever. Special thank you to Laps of Love for providing the most loving care to all of us. See you on the flip side, Lu!Michaelene TraceyValrico, FloridaNovember 13, 2020

11/25/2007 - 11/11/2020My mornings are different now with out the early sounds of your toe nails on the floor.
Sadness when I go to the fridge where you would always be, in the mornings & evenings
awaiting to be the first one to get fed. As you were Alpha dog in our house, you always
made sure of that with Duchess & Roxy. Who for such a little dude you would impower
all the big dogs!! That was your job & you did it very well & effortlessly.
It will not be the same with out you... RIP my precious Dudley Mighty Boy

9/23/2009 - 11/4/2020Bo Swadener . . .the best dog ever! He was a beautiful 11 year old English Lab with the perfect temperament. We have three sons and Bo was raised in a house full of boys! He loved walks, trips to the creek, river and lakes. He could hike the best trails, cuddle in the evenings, and was the best companion to all of us. The hole in our hearts and lives is big, and no replacement will be like sweet Bo!Suzanne Swadener SwadenerManassas, VirginiaNovember 13, 2020

Hercules Shaw
6/11/2010 - 11/11/2020Our dear Hercules, the worlds greatest dog. He was a gentle giant. Hercules LOVED this family more than anything. He protected us, brought us so much joy and memories we will cherish for life. He was the first baby and after 3 1/2 years he had 3 more babies to look after, Adelyn, Cash and Crew oh and Cousin Kimmy too. We always felt safe and loved with Hercules around. Life will never be the same.
Our hearts are absolutely broken with him gone. I keep looking for him. I continued to thank him for always being there through everything with me. We will continue to do our daily walk as if he is with us, we know he is there in spirit. We will get through this tragic time. We know he is at peace and no longer in pain.
I imagined him being with us for many more years. There was so much more I wanted to do with and for Hercules. I pray he knew how loved he was. I miss him being under my feet, cleaning up after the kids, greeting us with such love, his snuggles, his smile, his energy, everything about him I miss.
Until we meet again, Hercules. We love you FOREVER.
Your family,
Adam, Amy, Adelyn, Cash & Crew
