7/21/2006 - 10/25/2020Her presence of humbleness was loved by all our neighbors, as she would wag her tail harder than her bite, not that she even came close to biting anyone. She was a happy, full of joy pit bull that gave her breed a signature of good behavior for other dog owners to follow and appreciate. I am honored and have no regrets for the day I inherited "Brooklyn" from my daughter, Selly/family from Tacoma, Washington.Freddy & Wanda CarreroTampa, FloridaOctober 27, 2020
9/18/2014 - 10/24/2020Zilla was a Daddy's boy, from the second they locked eyes at Ann's Choice retirement community. Zilla was the strong, silent type, and very protective of his family. Gone too soon, forever in our hearts and souls. He came into our life, when we needed him, and filled out hearts with love.Melody,Stan,Jack CollinsGlenside, PennsylvaniaOctober 27, 2020
4/1/2009 - 10/23/2020Jackson truly changed my life and made everyday better and I hope I gave him the fantastic life he deserved. He was devoted to me and never wanted me out of his site. He was a protector of the cats and the definite pack leader. He loved not listening to me and just doing his own thing. He loved licking the cat dishes and humping Lord Stanley. He loved cat treats and being a big lap dog. He loved scrubbies and bully sticks. He loved swimming and rolling in the sand. He loved putting his head out the car window when I drove 15 miles per hour. He loved going to the park everyday. He loved hanging out in the woods and helping me remove invasive plants and was an amazing digger. He loved cold winter days when we would have the trails to ourselves to hike for hours. In summer he loved to cool off by walking and drinking the water at the same time. He loved his doggie buddies. And Jackson loved me and I feel so lucky to have been his “assistant” and best friend for 10 years and I will miss him every day. Jackson, I love you and…”I See You Later!”Liz GannonTroy, MichiganOctober 26, 2020
8/26/2008 - 10/25/2020Bear we love you so much. Thank you for being part of our family. You were the best boy ever and we are going to miss you so much!!!Bonnie JamesOrlando, FloridaOctober 26, 2020
11/17/2007 - 10/22/2020We went to a shelter to go find dog. Little did we know that we would be lucky enough to have a dog pick us. A Brussels Griffon mix that we named Grommet. Grommet was the definition of a companion dog in every sense of the term. Grommet always wanted to be with his "pack". He was always there with us but was never in the way. Grommet loved his extended pack too. He grew up with our grand nephews. Grommet was always so happy and excited to see his playmates come and visit. They played for hours on end and he could even pull them across the floor when the boys were young.

Grommet loved to go for a walk everyday of his life whether around our neighborhood or to local parks. He never met a stranger, people or dogs. He had many "friends" in neighborhood. Grommet loved to go for rides too and would often go with me to run errands. (Grommet learned how to stand on the arm rest of my pickup to make the window go down so he could stick his head out.)

Grommet was a one of a kind dog. So loving, so intelligent, so perceptive and such a joy to have. He was an original and left a hole that will never be filled. I miss Grommet greatly but I am VERY grateful have had my time with him. I love you Buddy.

6/4/2008 - 10/24/2020Velvet crossed over the rainbow bridge this morning. A Dr Dan came to the house and gave us all time we needed to say good-bye before he gently help her leave this world to join Debbie and her buddy J-Lo. We were able to help her leave us knowing she was safe and loved. we now have another hole in our hearts, but she also gave us precious memories we will always treasure. 💔Tracy DeatlineIndianapolis, IndianaOctober 26, 2020
5/8/2010 - 10/20/2020Lily, was the best companion a human could ask for. She never complained about a thing, she was always looking for "more pats" by the nudge of her snout under your elbow. She loved sleeping under beds. Her white tipped tail would stick out with her two hind legs giving her hiding spot away. She loved going for walks (she had an annoying habit of eating grass) and she loved to bask in the sun (despite her black hair absorbing the sun). For a long time she loved to play and "zoom," (especially in the snow), until about 6 or 8 months ago. We had no idea that Cancer was taking root in our sweet girl.Melanie MillerAnn Arbor, MichiganOctober 25, 2020
4/22/2007 - 10/15/2020On 10/15/20 we had to say goodbye to our precious sheltie, Annie. We were fortunate to have her for 13 1/2 wonderful years. She was beautiful inside and out with a shy but friendly personality. Her “favorite place” in our home was lying on the foyer floor looking out the front door, letting us know every time a person, dog, cat, squirrel, etc., was walking by. She loved to chase buzzards out of the sky and airplanes so far up in the clouds my husband and I really had to focus to see them. Her eyesight was phenomenal! Although it is so hard to say goodbye to our fur babies, it was comforting to see her pass so peacefully in her own home lying in her “favorite place” with her family around her, including our younger sheltie Ginger. Annie has been a pure joy to my family and everyone she has met in her short lifetime. No doubt she is now playing with her buddy Zoey up at Rainbow Bridge and someday we will all be back together again. God bless your little soul sweet girl, you will be missed and forever in our hearts. 💕Sandy JohnsonColumbia, South CarolinaOctober 25, 2020
