Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
5/24/1999 - 5/6/2014In 15, too brief years, our Kohly brought a love to his family that dwarfed his oversized heart. All Kohl ever wanted was to make his family happy. When his sister, Amber, got sick and went blind Kohl became her eyes. After Amber passed Kohl stayed by his mommy's side to help her mourn. He was truly an angel on earth. His passing is felt everyday whether it be that we miss the sound of his tiny dancing feet before feeding; his non-stop licking of our legs when we cleaned; the relaxing sound of his peaceful breathing; the pitter-patter of his paws when he ran in to the bedroom at bedtime; watching your tail wag when all we did was say hello. Kohl's unconditional love opened the heart of his daddy, and melted his mommy's heart, creating an eternal bond. These words do no justice to the impact on our lives that this sweet, loving dog provided. Although his soul will be with us perpetually, his physical presence will be missed daily. Kohl has surely left paw prints on our hearts and souls. We will miss you Kohl, our little baby boy.Liz & Michael GaynorCoral Springs, FloridaMay 23, 2014
12/1/2013 - 5/22/2014The trusted companion is always there with never a disapproving word. The love that lasts forever....Tina ScrignoliHavertown, PennsylvaniaMay 23, 2014
10/1/2000 - 5/22/2014Sabina was one in a million. Affectionately known as "Beans," she was a big part of our lives. Rob and Kat adopted her when she was just a few months old, less than a year after my nephew Cole was born. Cole and "Beans" spent a lot of time together in California, and I was fortunate to be able to accompany them (and Rob) on their daily walks around Mt. Helix. After moving to St. Louis, "Beans" welcomed Kendall into the family and was her pal and protector. Ever adaptable, "Beans" grew to love her St. Louis neighborhood, making tons of friends and admirers in the 'Loop' area. She even crashed a Salmon Rushdie lecture on the Wash U campus! She was such a sweet pup and she never met a stranger. I'll never forget her calm, loving demeanor and the way she loved to prance when she was feeling playful. We were so fortunate to have her in our lives, and she'll always be with us.Bill RozenSt. Louis, MissouriMay 22, 2014

Bill The Cat
1/17/1998 - 5/19/2014In loving memory for our cat Bill. He was a feisty cat who lived life on his own terms. We loved him so much. I can't wait to see him again at the Rainbow Bridge.Kathy GrantSt Petersburg, FloridaMay 22, 2014
10/10/2011 - 5/10/2014“My cat Marco spent many evenings with me lying on my lap with his face nestled against my arm as we watched TV together. And that is how he passed away. He had fought kidney cancer to the point that he was not eating for days on end and finally could not even drink water without vomiting. I cannot emphasize too much what a humane way euthanasia at home is to let your beloved pet go when the time comes. I am so grateful to the wonderful veterinary clinics that aid our pets when they are in need but a clinic is not where I want my pets to die if it can be avoided. And I realize sometimes it can't be. With euthanasia at home Dr. Nancy visited my home and gave us as much time as we needed to prepare our selves and our pet. In Marco's case he was so tired he had no hesitation to lie in my lap and rest just like he always did. And when we were ready he was given an injection (not an IV) that simply put him to sleep. And after 15 minutes he was given a second injection that stopped his heart. It was an incredibly peaceful passing and Marco passed in his home and held in the arms of someone who dearly loved him with another family member petting him as he slipped away. I will never forget Marco as I have never forgotten my other pets and I will never forget the way he passed. Death of a pet is never a good thing but it can definitely be handled in a good way and euthanasia at home is the way to do it if you can. Thank you to Dr. Nancy and all the vets who provide this valuable service”Eric JohnsonColumbia, South CarolinaMay 22, 2014

12/1/1999 - 5/12/2014"Miss Sahsha - My Beloved Baby Girl"

I lost my beloved baby girl last week,
My little angel Sahsha--cute and meek.
Her gentle head against my chest,
Sharing her silent thoughts while she rests.

She'll come no longer to my call,
Retrieve no more her favorite ball.
A voice far greater than my own,
Has called her to His golden throne.

And though my eyes are filled with tears,
I thank Him for the fourteen joyous years,
He let her spend down here with her papa Lee and me,
And for her licks, love, and loyalty.

Bam Bam
6/24/2014 - 5/20/2014She wasn't fancy or flashy, she didn't do tricks, but she had a Heart of Gold and gave her family 110% until the day her tired old body was worn out. So happy she is now at Rainbow Bridge with her best K 9 and equine pals.Tim RalphNorco, CaliforniaMay 21, 2014
Riley went to the Rainbow Bridge today @ 5:16 today. We could have not asked for a more loving friend, companion. He was our 1st "boy" and loved his brothers and
He will be missed but he is in our hearts forever.
