Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
12/25/2002 - 5/14/2016Bogie was such a loving dog. He was always happy when company came to visit. We decided to get a second dog, this would be a companion for Bogie while we were at work/school. We adopted Desi, our male Yorkie whom instantly thought Bogie was his parent and snuggled up with him. Desi was only 9 weeks old, freshly weaned from his Mom. The two became an inseparable pair, playing in the yard, chasing squirrels, playing tug o' war with their rope toy (Bogie usually being the winner as he was triple Desi's size :) As years passed he became the leader of our small pack as we acquired Desi's mom and another pup from her. He was a loving dog and shared his space and attention freely with the others, he was always a faithful protector of his family.Terri ProvenceChapel Hill, North CarolinaMay 17, 2016
9/10/2002 - 5/16/2016Sydney was quite an independent soul....born on a farm, he had spunk! He loved nature and spending time on the deck and the yard. He was sneaky...waiting for the dog's breakfast and licking all the gravy before doggie could get anywhere fact, Fiona (our lovable Snoodle) would wait patiently for Sydney to get his generous! Sydney was a kitten when we welcomed him to our home and lives...he watched our boys grow up and waited for them to return home on the school bus to play. He was playful and loving when he felt like it and regal most of the time. He hated when we introduced a puppy to my home but eventually welcomed him and it wasn't long before they became pals...cuddling up and being good company for each other. Sydney got sick a few months ago...stopped waiting for his breakfast...lost interest in his usual comfy spots...eventually ate less and seemed sad. He hated going to the vet with a passion...we did not want him to have a traumatic experience and that's when we found Lap of Love. So kind, compassionate and competent. Sydney's passing was peaceful and swift and he was at home...where he wanted to be. We will miss him but are comforted that he did not suffer...he sleeps peacefully and will forever remain in our hearts and memories.Carla ForteMorristown, New JerseyMay 17, 2016
3/28/2002 - 5/11/2016We got Bella the summer before we got married. She was our first "child" and throughout the next 14 years she was by our side through many moves and the addition of our two children. She adjusted better than we did in all those situations and was always our source of constant love and support. She loved to go on hikes, chase the tennis ball, jump in any form of water and walk the kids to school. She had a big heart and something is definitely missing from our family now. We love you Bella!

Prince e. paws
4/4/2002 - 3/25/2016Prince was a sweet, gentle, loving little man with a confident & determined personality. He was my world and I wish everyday that he were with me. Everyone that saw him admired his rare beauty and perfect proportions. He was large for a Shetland Sheepdog which made him an unusual beauty. He would put his head down and walk into you pressing his head against you, giving you a hug. He was perfect and the world is a less beautiful and sadder place without him. He was a rare gem with unconditional love in plenty.M PHenderson, NevadaMay 15, 2016
8/11/2001 - 5/14/2016Baylee was a bit of a challenge because of her feisty spirit as a youngster. Never could I imagine that in my quest to develop a bond and channel her spirit, that an entire world of friends would be opened up to me. Because of Baylee I became part of a dog community as we helped each other in training and friendship in the hobby of dog sports. Baylee became my solid companion and competitor in obedience shows. She was the queen of the household as she "supervised" her buddies at home and she was a special friend to her favorite Golden boy, Beau. She gave more to me than I could ever give in return. We shared a lifetime of experiences in the almost 15 years that she graced my home for which I will be forever grateful. Miss you, dear friend, but I am glad you are free to race like the wind. Fly free my dear Butterfly girl.Andrea MrazBellflower, CaliforniaMay 14, 2016
6/10/2000 - 5/13/2016Basheera, We love you more than you could ever imagine. You were our dog, our child and our snuggle puppy. You were a friend to your brothers, Duke and Rufus and our baby girl. We loved your gentle kisses and your snorts that let us know you needed rubs. You were always there to greet us when we came home and always there to keep us warm when it was time for bed. It will not be the same now that you are gone and we look forward to the day when we get to cross the rainbow bridge and be together again. We love you so much. Thank you for bringing so much joy into our lives. Love Dad, Mom, Duke and Rufus.Angela & Charles Davidst. louis, MissouriMay 14, 2016
3/13/2001 - 5/8/2016In memory of our loving Itsabell, the "wrong turn" dog that we adopted from a basketful of puppies after ending up at a Target store instead of our original destination. It was fate, she was with us for 15 years, and a beautiful part of of family. She loved walking, and chasing tennis balls, our trips to the dog beach kept us running on the sand with her, and she was so clever, when she got hot, she would dig a hole and lay in the cool sand. She equally enjoyed sitting by the fireplace on her big fluffy bed, and in her later years we would give her a lift up on the old leather couch that was her favorite place to nap. We will miss her welcome home greetings, and her barking reminders for treats. On Mother's Day, she had her last cookie, and left for the parks of heaven. We will miss you old girl.Denise BellHuntington Beach, CaliforniaMay 12, 2016
