Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
4/4/2003 - 11/27/2016Bailey was my best friend for the last 13 years. He spanned three decades of my life - 20's, 30's and 40's - and saw me through the ups and downs of life. He was feisty from the time he was an 8-week old pup when I brought him home. He loved to run at the dog park, play with his toys and take long naps. Hampered with a degenerative disc disease diagnosed when he was only 1 year old he faced a lot of physical limitations. He survived two back surgeries for ruptured discs within six months of each other. He also bounced back from meningitis and dealt with multiple challenges with his vision. He helped his new dog sister Abby learn how to become a dog when I adopted her when Bailey was 7 years old. They walked side-by-side and she followed his every move like a shadow. Bailey loved city life and brought a smile to a lot of people as he trotted around our neighborhoods over the years. He also loved Lincoln Park and chasing squirrels - he ran them right up the trees. I taught him how to wave and he would wave on command and also whenever he wanted something. Elevator taking a long time to come in our building and he would wave at it! He loved kids and I'm grateful he met my baby and did tummy time with him the last six weeks. Bailey snored like a bear and I'll miss that even though it drove me crazy. He was the best dog anyone could hope for. He followed me around from room to room for the last 13 years and I can't imagine life without him.Sheryl LarsonChicago, IllinoisNovember 29, 2016

6/20/2000 - 11/22/2016Dearest Foxy...always loving and there for all of us with the most unconditional love ❤️ we miss seeing you in your special spot in the den snuggling up with Starr kitty and your little brother Max. They miss you too. We came home from our holiday trip yesterday, and Max went searching for you in the den. When he didn't find you there, he ran upstairs to see if you were there. We are giving him lots of extra love to help him get through his grief.

Thank you for being the best dog anyone could ever want. We take so much comfort in the fact that you are now pain free and running and frolicking in the cool green grasses once more. Until we met again, know that we will always love you and carry you in our hearts 💕

With everlasting love,

Mom, Dad, Max and Starr (and Casey and Calista and Kevin, too)

11/4/2004 - 11/26/2016Ashley came into our lives at age 2. She was so loving and very rambunctious. She and I had our difficult moments, but over the years we became best friends. She had such a unique personality. She would play and chase the squirrels. She loved laying out in the sun. Having to say goodbye was the one of the hardest things I have had to do. I look up in the sky for her. I know she is at peace and is running once more. I miss you so very much. My heart aches. I miss our nightly walks. We love you pretty girl.Lynda SchmanskeLas vegas, NevadaNovember 28, 2016

1/15/2002 - 11/25/2016Mollie - Your body is away from me
But there is a window open
from my heart to yours.
From this window, like the moon
I keep sending news secretly ~ Rumi

The brightest star in the night sky is Sirius...the "dog star." Mollie taught me many things in 15 years - mostly about love. She will never be forgotten and leaves a big void in our home. However, we have her in our hearts for eternity. I look forward to the day that we are reunited.

12/26/2005 - 11/20/2016Dearest Maxx:

If words could only describe how much you are missed. The tears, pain and feelings of emptiness serve as a testament to the impact you had in our lives. You were far more than a pet. You were a family member, our protector, our strength and our closest friend. You made our house a home and you filled our hearts with joy and happiness. You were so handsome, brave, your strength immeasurable and you were so graceful in your actions. The love you gave is so sorely missed along with having you by our side.

It will take time to heal - for the silence to go away. We still listen for you and miss you every minute of every day. The house is so quiet without you. We miss hearing your toes click on the floor, watching you nudge your food bowl with your nose, the sound of you crunching on your kibbles and that intent stare as you begged for us to share our dinner. We miss taking you for walks, our midnight trips to the beach, watching you from the window as we pulled away in the car and hearing your excited bark when we arrived home. We miss staring into those soulful eyes, your compassionate kisses and waking up in the morning to pet you, talk to you and tell you how much we love you. We miss drinking our coffee on the porch together, watching you lay in the sun to later discover you resting comfortably, curled up on our bed pillows.

You are forever in our hearts and will never be forgotten. You made us better people. We never wanted this day to come. We would do anything for you and to have you back. We still and forever will look to you for strength, guidance and more than anything to know that you are once again healthy, safe, comfortable and happy!!! We are blessed to have had you in our lives and to have shared this journey together - thank you! We love you to the moon and back!!!

May you forever live in our hearts and memories. Until we meet again buddy, our greatest of love!!!

2/24/2016 - 11/12/2016Willie put up a good fight for the past three years but, unfortunately cancer won. My heart is broken and I will miss him every day. He loved everyone unconditionally. He had a kind heart, patience and gave us so much happiness, funny and loving memories. He will always be in our hearts. Our home is so empty without him. We miss you everyday. Hope you are having fun with Cheech, Ariel, and Lucky. Until we we meet again my baby Willie. A special thanks to Dr. Heather Manfredi from Long Island Lap of Love who came to our home and helped us through a horrible time and gave Willie his wings- thank you. Willie died peacefully, with dignity and in his home where he felt love and safe.Stella CirilloWest Babylon, New YorkNovember 26, 2016

I owe you this, dear friend of mine,
For time is cruel, unfair, unkind.
I wish I may, I wish I might
Have one more day and one more night.
Your 15 years now come and gone,
From puppy love to grey and drawn.
I cry ten thousand tears you know,
That's the cost of letting go.
But when my time on earth is done,
I'll find you friend, and again we'll run.
