12/18/1997 - 3/26/2013Yesterday, our friend and "Child" Eddie, passed on. We want to thank Dr. Dani for helping us make a very difficult day a little easier. While we'll miss Ed, terribly, we are grateful she is finally at peace.Al RomasTampa, FloridaMarch 27, 2013
3/5/1997 - 3/25/2013My beloved 'Big Handsome' - we will never forget you and your beautiful Golden smile. You were the diplomat of dogs, never met a stranger and adored by all! You are missed and will be loved all our lives and never ever forgotten. You're with the angels now and this brings us comfort. Kaley rose
2/26/2000 - 3/23/2013Just wanted to give a deeply heartfelt thanks to Dr. Juliana Lyles of Lap of Love who helped our Kaley Rose pass so peacefully on Saturday in the home she's known for her entire 13 years. It was a heartbreaking yet beautuful experience to be able to spend her last hours with her giving her some of her favorite food (a stick of butter and my Mom's soft boiled eggs and toast). Dr. Juliana explained so softly and so gently everything she was doing to help Kaley leave this world and go on to a painfree one, something we owed her.Patti HazlettElk Grove Village, IllinoisMarch 26, 2013

1/17/2001 - 3/24/2013Dearest Harley, How did I ever live without you? You brought so much joy to our lives. We love you so much. We know that you are running free now, and that you must be happy and pain free. My heart is so heavy missing you, my steps slower coming home, knowing you are not waiting there. I pray we meet again in the place where your legs are like new again, and I will take you to Heaven where we will be together forever! Until then, rest well my sweet boy, I love you! Sadly missed by Mama (Mary) , Billy, Cullen, Rachel, Brigitte, Tyler and Brantlee and also your best friend Chino-the chilhuahua .Mary DeeseSanta Fe, TexasMarch 26, 2013

3/1/1997 - 3/15/2013Dear Jed,
Oh, how I miss your little presence. :( The house is SO empty without you. :(
I did not know that I would miss you this much. :( You were my little Bubba, Stinky Bomber and Jedidiah Poopster for almost 16 years. You brought ME and many others much joy and happiness. :):):) I will learn to live without you but I will always miss you. You were a brave guy for so long, even though you did not feel well. I knew it was time, when you did not care that Grandma had come to visit. Usually, you would get so excited, she would pick you up and have to hold you for hours. I know that you are NOT suffering anymore and you are happy and healthy again, running around in Heaven. Have fun little guy and save me a spot!!!
With ALL of my love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

4/17/1999 - 3/20/2013Today Bill and I helped Akki to the Rainbow Bride. My heart hurts where the little piece of it that belonged to her left with her. Although she looked like and acted like a puppy, she was 3.5 years old when we rescued her. Akki was visually impaired from inappropriate anesthesia administration when at 14 weeks old, she had been stepped on, breaking both of her back legs. But she never knew she was disabled. She greeted life head on and with exceptional empathy. I took her on all my home visits with prospective adopters of rescue dogs and she always knew the right ones to approve. It was Akki that brought me to our dog, Tiki’s side when he needed to be rushed to the emergency vet. I was never so proud when this wild child, who was not even housebroken in 2002, earned her AKC Canine Good Citizen award in 2004. Akki , I will miss you so but I am so glad that you are out of pain. Godspeed, Sweetie. Wear your silver harness well. It is richly deserved.Joy CurtisMalden, MassachusettsMarch 20, 2013
