Sally
5/1/2006 - 9/7/2015You came into our life a little furry bundle of excitement and love. You never asked for much, just some walks and belly rubs. You gave us more joy then you will ever know. You were not just a pet...you were family. My second child. You gave such unconditional love. Even in your last days, you just wanted to be rubbed and loved. We did not have enough time with you. There is an emptiness in our house and hearts. I try and find some peace in the fact that you are no longer suffering and are able to run and play like a puppy again. We will meet again at the Rainbow bridge, till then know you are always in my heart. I miss you.

Casper
9/3/1999 - 9/7/2015I will never forget the 16+ years I've had with my wonderful loving furry friend Casper. She was the most amazing loving, friendly, affectionate well behaved cat I've ever had. Every time I had company she always sat next to them and purred. She didn't have a mean bone in her body. Always greeted me at the door when I came home and always comforted me. She was ALWAYS by my side. I've been so blessed to have found her at Pet Smart 16 years ago.She had many health issues when I adopted her. But I knew I would give her a wonderful home and she would have a fantastic life. My heart is so sad. My heart is broken.
I am so fortunate I found Lap of Love on the internet yesterday morning. It was labor day and I honestly didn't want my baby girl to spend her last moments in a cold veterinarians office. Dr. Toby Goldmanin Las Vegas called me within 5 minutes of my emailing his website. He was here at my house within 2 hours time. I am so fortunate that my baby girl Casper was put to rest in her own heartwarming home in my family room on the couch where she always laid next to me. Toby Goldman was so understanding and thoroughly explained what to expect. My baby girl Casper fell asleep and laid to rest. Dr. Goldman even had a beautiful basket with blankets to carry her out in. Thank you again Toby Goldman. Your service was a class act and I will always recommend you. You are the most kind and understanding man to assist in this most difficult time of my life.

Kit Kat
9/20/1996 - 9/7/2015Kit Kat first joined our family 19 years ago. He was a tiny lazy kitten who liked to sleep with a paw over his eyes who grew into a big lazy cat who still slept the same way. Anybody who had the chance to cross paths with Kit Kat knew of his incredible stories. Like the time he hid in a hole in the bottom of a box-spring mattress that was to be hauled away from Macy's. The new mattress was delivered and the old one was taken away - hours later, Kit Kat was nowhere to be found. The Macy's truck was called back from its way to the dump and a little while later, Kit Kat was back safe and sound from his first adventure. Always one to outdo himself, years later he disappeared from the backyard early one morning only to return six days later at the exact hour he went missing. Kit Kat was also known for his boxing skills. He loved to bop all of the nurses on the head when he was taken to the vet and even bopped an opossum square on the nose during one of his outdoor trips. He was also a ham for the camera; Kit Kat lives on in the countless photos and videos that were taken over the course of his happy life. He can even be found dressed as a very excited reindeer on page 222 in New York Times Bestseller "Bad Cat" under the pseudonym Miranda. Kit Kat will be dearly missed by his family and his little brother Calvin. If we're all stories in the end, Kit Kat certainly made sure his was a good one.Meagan PlichtaMonroe Twp, New JerseySeptember 9, 2015
Austin Meyers
11/1/2005 - 9/7/2015Hi Sissy,
Mom said she would help me write a letter to you...
Thank you for finding me on that day in May 2005, I needed you and mom and she needed me. I remember Mom's Honda I got right in the back sit and had a smile on my face. Then we got home and Mom sat on the couch and I jumped up on her lap and laid on her till I fell asleep. I know my first time at the park in Brea, I kind of didn't wait for the car to stop and jumped out the window to run on the grass I don't think I did that again.
Remember we used to body slam when you got home from High School I was pretty good at and even better at kisses all over you face I won every time! Even better when mom took me to Mammoth when I was still 6 months old and oh my goodness the lakes and the hikes I had soooo much fun that mom tried to take us every year!!! Mom used to call me Scout Master causes I would run up the trail and then run back down to check on everybody!! Oh and the snow!! Okay, so the only thing I will admit to is my weakness for Bagels I guess that's why mom called me Bagel Boy!! Guess what? I got bagels for the last four days!! Gosh they were delicious!! I loved when mom took me to watch your softball games, especially when you kept hitting the balls over the fence, mom said they were called homeruns! I wanted to chase everyone of those balls and bring them back to you, but mom said they were too big to fit in my mouth least it was fun watching them go over the fence!! Mom would even let me watch softball and baseball on TV with her I loved that!
Mom had to do a very brave thing today for me and I love her for loving me so much that she knew it was time for me to become a Golden Angel. Mom said there a quite a few family members I can be with when I leave this earth. I promise to watch over you, mom and Whitney. In fact I already walk with them today at the park mom knows I was there. Guess what? There are beautiful mountains, lakes and snow here. The trails go on forever and I get to eat all the bagels I want! I just wanted you to know how much I was loved by the both of you, mom gave me a life full of love and help me pass peacefully.
Well I better run, I think I just saw Filo...
Love you very much!
Austin

Daisy
8/31/2015Daisy was the center of our world. We based everything on how it would affect Daisy. She was always with us no matter where we went. Our hearts are broken that she is no longer with us here on this earth but we know we will see that little girl again. What a sweet reunion that will be to see our baby girl again.Tricia and Gerald SetzerWhitsett, North CarolinaSeptember 8, 2015
Mason
6/1/1992 - 9/1/2015Mason ("Purry Mason") joined our family 23 years ago, when my daughter brought home a tiny orange kitten that was found by a friend. She hid him in her room, with her brother's help, but he didn't stay hidden long. "Just until I find him a home!" she promised. (But, of course, she had already found him a home...) He was the sweetest, gentlest, friendliest cat. He would run to greet us at the door, like a dog. Mason was like a cat ambassador; he seemed to have a mission to make everyone like cats. My sister and her husband stayed at our house once, and Mason banged into the guest room door while they were sleeping until they let him in. He climbed on the bed between them, and purred happily--my brother-in-law, not a cat person at the time, was won over! And Mason was a smart kitty--he learned to open doors by jumping up, hanging from the lever knob, and swinging the door open with his weight. Smart, and loving, a friend to all-- other cats, the dog, and every person he ever met. He was also a dependable alarm clock, waking us regularly at 6 AM. We have known, owned, and loved other cats, but Mason was unique. How lucky we were to have him in our lives and our home for 23 years! It was excruciating to have to say goodbye to this sweet old boy. Our house is still home to three other cats and a dog, but somehow it now feels kind of empty...Mason will always be missed.Janet WolinTrinity, FloridaSeptember 7, 2015
