Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
12/6/2005 - 3/21/2020At 5:19 PM CST today, 03/21/2020, Osiris went to sleep for the last time. He was laying in his favorite spot, a pillow in front of the fireplace. He was born 12/06/2005. He was exceptionally intelligent, athletic, loyal, loving, and well behaved. A rare trait in a basenji. His passing has left a large hole in our hearts.

He loved to lure course and earned numerous titles and awards during his career, including 28 Best of Breed (Basenji), a Best in Field, and the highlight; placing 1st among all breeds at the ASFA 33rd International Invitational.

1/19/2007 - 3/20/2020Kenai, you are very much missed and we love you. It broke my heart to say goodbye after your fight with Cushing's Disease but know that you are pain free and running free with your Nuska. The house is so empty without you.Anne ShifflettLake Mary, FloridaMarch 22, 2020
5/1/2007 - 3/20/2020Yesterday was the hardest day of my life. My sweet Gracie Lou just six weeks shy of turning 13, lost her battle with an aggressive bone tumor. She was strong willed and kept fighting as time shortened her ability to fight back. Gracie was a kind, gentle soul, patient, happy and brought joy to everyone that met her or knew her. EVERYBODY loved Gracie! As a twin sister to her litter mate and best friend Sydney, she has now passed across the Rainbow Bridge to rejoin her pup sister and chase squirrels and play tug o’war once again. Gracie was happiest at the park, taking rides in the car, napping, taking walks, giving kitty kats a run for their money and of course she loved lazy Sundays with Daddy. She loved going to the Pet Supermarket, Home Depot, Michaels, saying hello to all the workers at the drive through, and has been seen about town at several hot spots, restaurants and other social gatherings. Gracie was a popular girl! She will always have my heart. I know everyone thinks there dogs are the best...and I believe they are...but I’m the luckiest Dad in the world to have had the BEST puppy girl ever! I will forever be heartbroken. You and your Sister Sydney made me be a better person, taught me how to be a Dad, and truly rescued me! Gracie...thank you for being such a good girl...Daddy’s “little girl”...and know that I can’t wait to see you soon!! You and Sydney play nice now!Matthew BarbeeWinter Park, FloridaMarch 22, 2020
3/12/2020 - 3/26/2020My sweet Duke. You were always such an angel. I never used a leash - even as a puppy you stayed right with me. There was never I time that I called you when you did not come. And even in your last days, you always barked to protect our family. I will miss you to my dying day. You had every attribute I wish I had: constant kindness, patience, tolerance, strength, and intelligence. You figured out how to open the sliding glass door and let yourself out. You slept with me every night, and I miss your gentle snoring. Duke, you fought the good fight against your disease for three long years, almost a third of your life. You stayed with us protecting and taking care of us, until finally, your disease was too much. And then you passed into peace with me next to you never feeling fear or pain. I love you, and I will miss you forever.Sherborn, MassachusettsMarch 21, 2020

5/16/2004 - 3/20/2020My Gutter was the most loving girl. I’ve had her since she was 8 weeks old and we adopted her in 2004. ❤️ Gutter was definitely a little tomboy and liked to think she was tough. But when it was bedtime or I was in bed having a bad day or whatever the reason, there she was ready to wrap her arms around my arm and we wouldn’t move for hours. I’m not sure how to process losing her. I loved her more than anything, even in times when I hated the world. I could never fathom her being gone. And now she is. I just can’t believe it. Rest In Peace angel I love you so so much.

1/1/2004 - 3/18/2020My one and only dog, it was a blessing to try to care for you the best that I could. You were the sweetest dog at times that I ever knew. You’ve been through so much these past couple years. Thank you Dr. Burn for helping him to run free. You’ll see your Mom and brother Maxi in the highest of the heavenlies. Will miss the sweetest little dog face I’ve ever known. Love you Bust... know your at peace, free from pain, nothing but love can touch you now...Angela ThomasMilford, ConnecticutMarch 21, 2020
9/1/2003 - 3/19/2020My sweet pup gained her wings this morning. Sweet, sweet Sasha. Sasha-roo. Sashimi. Sushi roll. Biggie smalls. I had a lot of names for you, but most of all, I was lucky to call you mine. Thank you for letting me be yours. It was an honor.

You were the sweetest of the sweet and had the most gentle disposition. When I brought you and Sadie home 3 1/2 years ago, you became fast and lifetime friends with Karen’s dogs, Kona and Shasta. They were here with you today as Dr. Tyler from Lap of Love so kindly and mercifully helped your transition. You graciously accepted (maybe tolerated) and learned to love the numerous dogs I fostered or otherwise brought into the house, from Lily, Gideon, Charlie, Andi, and Maggie. You loved all the kids (human and canine) in the neighborhood and never met a stranger. You also never met a food you didn’t like....

Sasha, you were so loved and there will always be a hole left. But you are now as you were meant to be: young, energetic, full of life, able to explore, your legs work and you are able to run, jump, and play with all of your friends. May we meet again at the end of the bridge. Fly high, sweet Sasha, and watch over those you have joined, including your sister Sadie and Buster. 😇🌈💔🐾

2/4/2004 - 3/6/2020Thank you for sixteen+ years of loyal friendship and love. You taught us patience, devotion and teamwork. You were the first big commitment that Ed and I made to each other. Thank you for hanging on until Emmett came. I always said you were the best $75 we ever spent when we got you from the pound all those years ago. Thank you for taking this journey with us and for helping us to become better people. We love you, Ms. Puppers.Sara CarlisleFORT MYERS, FloridaMarch 20, 2020
