Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
Lucky Morgan
10/16/2002 - 10/17/2014I miss you so much already, but I loved you too much to let you live in pain. You were my protector and my best friend for 12 years and I will be forever grateful to have had that time with you. Despite the circumstances, I'm glad that you were feeling a little bit better on our last day's almost like you knew it was our last chance and that soon you would be able to experience the peace that you so deserve. Rest In Peace my little Lucky Duck. I love you forever.Michelle MorganeRiverside, CaliforniaOctober 18, 2014

12/17/1997 - 10/16/2014Mocha, we're so sorry for everything. I know you understand, and as soon as we saw how much pain you were enduring, we knew we could not let you go on that way. You were the toughest little cookie, so to hear your cries was just heartbreaking. Just know that if there was any way we could have kept you forever, we most certainly would have. You were my best friend, confidante, and forever constant. No one will ever come remotely close to replacing you. I'm sad you were just shy of your 17th birthday, but thrilled that we were able to keep you in our lives as long as we did. You lived in doggy heaven here on Earth, so I can only imagine how amazing you have it up in real heaven. I love you more than life itself, had I been able to take your pain away I most definitely would have. Mom, Dad, Big Kid, and I all miss you terribly already. The house is too empty and quiet. We keep looking for your in your little bedroom, waiting to hear you scrambling on the slippery kitchen floor to get up and running to help give you a boost. I swear I still hear your sweet little snores. It's so surreal. If I could bring you back you'd be here in a heartbeat. We love you, Mocha. Thank you for making all of our lives worth living!!Noele ShipperTemple, PennsylvaniaOctober 17, 2014

10/10/2014Today my cat Kitty passed away.
We found that a tumor had developed in his jaw soon after I left for college and was having difficulty eating and was losing weight quickly.
I was hoping that I could see him again at Thanksgiving before having to decide to put him down, but his conditions worsened and my mom and I both agreed that the best thing to do was to just give him the shot before things got any worse for him.
He provided me with countless hours of joy and could always put a smile on my face no matter how I felt. I loved him so much and I'm sad I'll never see him again but it was best thing to do for him.

8/3/1995 - 10/7/2014Delilah was a very special girl. She came to us in the winter of 1995-1996 with 4 others in her adopted feral family; she was the "second aunt twice removed,"(!) She lived with Bob White, our flame-point Siamese, sisters Arielle and Jasmine, and their brother Ian. They were rescued from a dumpster and re-located to our house, and they all received spay/neuter, lots of love, and needed vet care. Because of her rescue, we are not sure of the exact date of her birth, but think she was about 6 months old when we got her.

She stood faithfully by as each of the members of her family became ill and passed away, and remained 2-1/2 years after Ian, the last one before her, passed away. I do not think she was lonely, though, because I think the spirits of her adopted brothers and sisters visited her, and I felt their spirits at her passing.

Delilah loved to catch strings under tissue paper, and could detect the slightest movement and pounce on it. The others would play, then would eventually stand back to admire her speed. She let us handle her until the others passed on; after that she was too shy. But she always loved her treats, and would eat them out of George's hand. She was well aware of the time, and she stood meowing on her crate each morning at feeding time. If I was a bit late with her evening feeding, I received a proper scolding!

8/11/2002 - 10/3/2014It was heartbreaking, but putting Bailey to sleep at home, under the tree that he chased all the squirrels away at, with the wind blowing, birds singing, and with the sun shining in our back yard, gave me great comfort. It allowed me to give him the last, biggest hug he would ever get again, and let me hold his paw as he passed over, knowing that he was loved greatly and one of the most precious gems in my life.
