Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
Leo
3/17/2008 - 7/6/2020Leo had soft eyes and grand paws that guided him through his adventurous, long life. He took his time when awake and ran wildly when dreaming.
He saved his enthusiasm for treats and the car which allowed us to do our favorite thing - be together through every adventure.

Victoria
9/17/2002 - 6/30/2020In memory of our amazing little warrior, Victoria. She was tiny, but ruled our household with an iron (if little) paw. She was extremely affectionate and cuddly, as long as everyone was doing exactly what they were supposed to, when they were supposed to. If either of us was sitting in the “wrong” spot (according to her), she would glare at us until we moved to where she always wanted us, then she would happily go from lap to lap, cuddling and purring. Our large male cat was always terrified of her and although he lived with us for the last 11 of her 17 years, she never forgave him for entering her home. Victoria loved our laps, she loved going out on the patio and sitting in the sun, and she loved her heated bed. Her last few years she was in renal failure so she slowed down a little, but never stopped chasing her feather toy (and then carrying it off in triumph, dragging it stick and all to her bed), and telling everyone what to do. Almost 18 years ago, she ran into our barn on a cold night, tiny, wet and scared. After several days of trying, we finally trapped her and brought her home, and I am so incredibly glad that she found us. I have had so many animals in my life, but never one with quite her personality. She was unique. She was loved. She is desperately missed.Chemyn & Steve ReaneyGrapevine, TexasJuly 9, 2020
Harley
9/17/2006 - 7/8/2020Our Sweet Harley Boy,

We are so grateful for the 14 years of joy and unconditional love you have given us. Your gentle soul touched everyone you met and you will always be a huge part of our family. You always gave the best hugs, especially when we were having a bad day. We will always remember your funny personality and how you made us laugh. You are the most human dog to ever walk this Earth, and will always be everyone's true best friend.

Run Free Harley Boy, we will miss you everyday.

Always our "best boy," we will love you forever.

Love,
Mom, Dad, Julia and Alyssa

Maya Butters
2/4/2006 - 7/7/2019Today makes 1 year since I said good bye to my beautiful Maya. I am thankful for Lap of Love & their service for being there during this difficult time & making Maya's last day peaceful as it can be.

Not a day goes by when I don't think about Maya. Wishing I can kiss her big nose one more time, hug her tight, hear her famous howls and so much more. She truly was the best dog-child I had the pleasure of raising as my own.

RIP Maya 🌈❤️

Buddy
7/16/2007 - 7/5/2020When my husband and I first decided on getting a dog we drove hours to a farm somewhere in Pa to look at lab puppies. By the time we got there Buddy was the only one left. Buddy was the runt and we later found out partially blind in one eye. That didn’t stop Buddy. Buddy had the most rambunctious personality and was such a goofball. Always loyal and loving. Buddy moved with us to four different houses in his life and welcomed three human siblings home. He was the most patient loving dog who loved his tennis balls. We never realized just how loud he was until he was gone and we are missing him dearly. See you at the bridge boyNicole SimpsonPittsburgh, PennsylvaniaJuly 9, 2020
Jumbo
11/9/2005 - 7/5/2020I'm sure that, in that special canine way, he is proud to say no harm came to our family from any squirrel during his watch.

People often chuckled, or even laughed out loud, when we told them his name. They probably noted the irony, thinking we were talking about his size.

But, we weren't talking about the size of his body, we were talking about the size of his heart.

We called him Jumbo.

Bear
2/20/2008 - 7/9/2020My sweet Bear passed yesterday with the help of the most lovely, kind and compassionate lady. Bear was like a child to us... so loved and cherished. Waking up this morning without his nose on my hand, panting in my face until I wake up was very sad.
We love you forever Bear Bear... until we meet again !

Nora
11/1/2007 - 7/3/2020For the last 12 years I was blessed to have her, Nora was nothing but pure love. A gentle soul who never met a stranger, whether it be human or animal. She wagged her tail and looked on in excited anticipation like everyone was a long lost friend. Her heart was always open and her favorite things in the world were yummy treats, walks in the park, face and neck massages, and mostly cuddles with her mom. My heart is forever changed for the better for having known and loved my sweet Nora. I love you my angel girl. Until we are together again in Heaven. 💞Jennifer SnyderDecatur, GeorgiaJuly 9, 2020
Boone
7/6/2020The day of. I felt this incredible sense to beautify you. I brushed you and cleaned your unwavering wound. You were so beautiful and soft and you lay there knowing it was our last touch with such peace and Fulfillment. You were peaceful. You gave me such joy and I was honored to be by your side
In the beginning and in the end. I will always love you. The unspeakable bond that you and I shared was relentless. You we’re perfect in every way. You never peed or shit on the floor, you were never aggressive with another dog even when they where being an asshole and you never coward. You were brave, dignified, handsome, and kind. I would code you over and over again.
